On 11/18/2024 I placed an online order at this Wendy’s location at 10:46pm to be delivered at 11:25pm at the hospital. At 10:59pm I got a VN saying the driver picked up the order and will be there by 11:25pm. Because I’m pregnant and unable to walk fast I immediately went to the pick up area at the hospital (front entrance) with the intention to reach before the Door Dasher Dennis. I arrived at the drop off area @ 11:02pm waiting for his arrival only to get a text saying the meal was handed to me😳 I immediately called the Door Dasher who said he had other deliveries to be delivered while back & forth on the phone asking him repeatedly where’s the meal he said he hand delivered to me he refused to respond & repeatedly said he had other deliveries & refused to say the whereabouts or who my delivery was given to. I turned around and there was my delivery OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL FRONT ENTRANCE ON THE GROUND IN THE FREEZING TEMPERATURE. Unhygienic, disappointed and pissed are understatements. I picked it up, called customer service then throw it away because of course I couldn’t leave it outside the hospital🤬🤬🤬 Door Dash & this Wendy’s just lost a faithful customer.

Usually this Wendy's I was at is very quick and very friendly, but yesterday was a totally different story. I understand it was dinner time and the rush and all. But the manager seemed to be doing every single job there. The lady who was running the cash register was told to make frostys and did so terribly so the manager had to do it for her. She also said "I'll be with you in a second sir" and then proceeded to try and make a frosty again but failed miserably once again. Finally I got to order and there was an order on the register from what I assume to be the previous customer and the same lady had no idea how to get rid of it so the manager came to her rescue once again. And the rates at which she moved were astronomically slower than her coworkers who seemed to be moving very fast and efficiently.
Parking is a terrible situation as there's only a couple spots but that's to be expected because they're located on the busiest street in Danville. Getting in and out of there is pretty hard because you'll most likely cause a jam if you're trying to get in certain ways and they have one way in and out of the property.
The 3 Bacon burgers were hot and fresh. For how busy the restaurant was we can't understand how cold the 3 orders of fries were. I went in to replace one order of fries. They just came out of the frier and are still bad. Greasy, under cooked, and not hot.

I stop ay this Wendy's a few times a year while traveling and rarely do I end an interaction without some frustration but this time...it was sureal. I decided I needed a small snack as we were traveling late at night. I walked in and there's no one. Eventually a cashier walks by and come back with cups to put away. Standing less than 2' away from me no greeting, no eye contact, no are you being helped. I figured I'd give her a moment to complete the task. She comes back and stands in front of the register and proceeds to tap her finger, I keep waiting to be acknowledged while multiple employees walk by and not a single one of them said anything. I finally asked if she was open, she says yes. I ask if I could order something she asks what I want. I let her know I have an offer in the app but can't find it now "do you know where it could have gone?" I asked her twice. Nothing. I looked up to see a manager standing behind her and the cashier pursing her lips at me. Finally finish the transaction and she takes her sweet time gathering fries. I walked out shaking my head wondering if I dreamt the whole thing.

The staff at the drivethru are extremely rude and impatient, they're borderline spitting venom at you through the speaker. Like the tone of an edgy teenage angry at their parents, and you're their parents.
This Wendy's Generally has Great Food, Especially their Baconater and Chili Cheese Fries, they have Good Salads, Great Selection of Drinks and Yummy Frostys for Dessert as well as Good Cookies and a Good Breakfast Menu. They now have Saucy Nugs and those are pretty darned good as is their Chili.

The food was what I expected. I went through the drive-thru, and both the person taking the order and the person fulfilling the order were very pleasant and cheerful. That has been missing quite frequently in our service industry recently.
