“JD African Restaurant has great food and the food is prepared with care. I went into the restaurant with my mom buying food to ship to Florida. That's how good JD's food is. Apparently, Florida doesn't have African Food but we specifically go to JD then anywhere else in the area. Keep up the good work 👍“

Delicious and mouth watering onion sauce, Lamb is grilled to perfection, with the tantalizing sweetness of the plantain that just melts away in your mouth. I am a reliable customer and approve of them being one of the best African restaurants I know who never disappoints, especially when it comes down to consistency and good taste.Their unique touch on this particular dish is a 10 out of 10.Their speciality and best seller is the Dibi and Plantain I can assure you of that.I recommend and support this business 100%“

“I love this place. If you are ever in philly you must try this Ghanian spot! If you like spicy this is the place. If you like rice get the jollof! My favorite is light soup with fufu. The peanut litter soup is bomb! Matter fact just eat everything. Only come if you have time to enjoy. Service is not typical of most American dinner time standards. Call ahead to ensure they are open that weekend! I wish they delivered via an app. But still worth going for the experience.“
