The physical location is a bit awkward being only really accessible from route 22 Eastbound. Additionally the parking lot configuration is bizarre with no marked parking spaces, and a sign on the door not to park at the neighboring business on certain days, but the only delineation between the two businesses was an 18 wheeler.

The place was clean inside, there were no flies, the counter is tasteful, however the general vibe wasn't really somewhere I would want to sit down to eat for pleasure.

The menu is on a large board that is fairly clear and the worker was very helpful in explaining anything that was not clear. We were the only people in the place, but he was very patient and courteous.

What was not great was that we found out when we got back home that several of our sides were not with the order. We got 3 adult meals with two sides each, one pulled chicken nachos, and a Mac and cheese which came in at just over $100. When we got home we realized that we only had 4 of the 6 sides and we did not have the Mac and cheese. I'm not sure if this was missed when ordering or if we were charged and the items were not packed, but as we are a 20 minute drive away we weren't exactly going to drive back over it regardless.

Another quirk I didn't like. I'm used to every cash register asking for $1-3 for the cashier to do their job, and it's annoying already for business to guilt their customers into providing a tip that a cashier can't possibly earn in that amount of time or the customer might appear cheap when what this really tells me is that the business doesn't want to pay their employees a proper wage, so would rather pass the buck to me. This however is something I'm used to. What I'm not used to is it suggested tips being %5, %10, %15. Is there a serious recommendation that for the fine minutes of work that was taking payment and putting food in boxes that a cashier should get a $15 top on a $100 order. Why? Are the cashiers paid exclusively in tips and few customers come through.

A good and bad thing is the portion size. The portions for the mains are giant. This is awesome, but I feel like we were a bit surprised by whole large they were and likely would have ordered differently had we realized. The portions on the side do not match though and are quite normal sized. My double rib meal was quite literally a full takeout box. My coleslaw was maybe a 1/3 of a cup? I would imagine the sides are much cheaper, so why mess it up there?

What I can say is that the food is absolutely excellent. The spice rub on the meat is very good, their barbecue sauce is very good and their spicy actually has a little kick. The coleslaw was great. Everyone loved it. We honestly were a bit upset about the sides, but we all shut up about it very quickly when we tried the meats and the only comments were how good it was.

They also have Turner's tea here which is awesome.

Parking: There's plenty of places to park, but it's chaotic and feels like wherever I parked someone might come out and ask me to move. Painting some lines would go a long way to clarifying the situation.

Stopped in on Labor Day and the service & food were great! Pulled pork, baby back ribs, and sides were really good. We'll be back the next time we're in the area!

The food overall is just not good.. really lacking in flavor, mushy cornbread, the baked beans taste like they were reheated and served, the first bite of mac and cheese actually made me gag. If you actually like this food, I am so sorry you’ve never had good barbecue.

They also forgot one of my sides with my takeout order, but now I'm glad they did so I didn’t have to eat it.

Shoutout to all of the flies in the restaurant too!

We had a company picnic this past Saturday at Deer lakes Park. (Concrete Cutting Systems) The food was fabulous, it showed up at time promised and was handled professionally from the start. we will definitely be utilizing your company for future events.

Nice and clean facilities. Ribs were ok a bit tough though. Collard greens was really good. The price is reasonable.

Since I started working in Delmont, I had been curious about this place and had wanted to order from there. Today was that day, and Boy Howdy am I glad that I did. I got the pulled pork sandwich with the macaroni and cheese and potato salad. The pork had an awesome yet unique taste to it, and I wish I had ordered more mac and cheese. Great prices on the menu, and it feels great ordering from a local place to pump up the business in the area. Will definitely be back in the future!

Good food for the money. I would like to see some different sauces added, that's the only downfall I see to the place.

We have been here many times, both for eating in and for take out. The meat has always been tender and moist with a wonderful smoked flavor. BBQ sauce in your choice of mild or spicy is served on the side. You, also, have a choice of a hard or soft bun for making a sandwich with your meat.
We have tried all the sides and liked everyone of them... as have friends when we have bought take out for a picnic. My favorite side is the corn bread that is sweet, moist, buttery with a crispy edge. The last time we went, I ordered a piece for with my meal and, then, my husband and I ordered another peice to take home for the next day.
Cold soft drinks, tea and water are available in the cooler. When, you order a meal, your drink is included.
If, you like good down home cooking, I would put the Pittsburgh BBQ Company on your 'Need to Try' list! Eat in the cute inside dining room, at the picnic table outside or take your order to go. Just try this delightful down home style food! I think you thank yourself for doing so!!!

Parking: There is free parking around the building.

Kid-friendliness: I have seen family's eating indoors. They seemed to be relaxed and comfortable.

Best BBQ in Pittsburgh. Brisket is scrumptious. Smoked chicken is out of this world delicious. Pulled pork is great too. And the sauce... Best around! Get the spicy sauce, it's got the perfect kick. I highly recommend this place!

Nice BBQ and sides. Well prepared. A little pricey like all BBQ these days. Well worth stopping. I think the best in the area, and I've tried them all.

If you want to have a dry and bland meal this place is for you. They don’t have fried chicken! They forgot to put the chili in our bag. The pulled pork and chicken were so dry. The bb sauce is nasty! Paying 50 bucks for dinner and it be gross. Not a good thing.

Parking: The parking is terrible. Don’t take a pickup truck there.
