The food was good. The service was just adequate and the dining room needs an update. The hours of operation are a little weird.

My guest & I really enjoyed the Delmonico steaks on Valentines night. Just wish they hadn’t sold out the prime rib. Wish they would have one night monthly each for prime rib, lamb, and turkey. Was seated quickly by smiling attentive staff. Empty plates cleared quickly by hard working bus boy.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner. We started with fried zucchini planks and they were undercooked, soggy and lukewarm, but no one came and checked on us, so we couldn’t tell anyone until our dinner came. They did take it off our bill. My husband ordered the fish dinner. He said his fish was overcooked and tough, and he didn’t like the mashed potatoes, but he liked the coleslaw and the rolls. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was very good but sadly the marinara/spaghetti sauce was tasteless. The service was slow and not attentive, and they weren’t even busy. We were disappointed.

Went for a graduation banquet. Food was edible but can't say more beyond that. Not a fan of you having to go to the bar to get any kind of beverage other than the bottle of water they place at the table. The room they have banquets in were nice enough, spacious.

Edit: after response from the owner, who clarified a con i stated, I now better know of the drinks situation. I appreciate a responsive owner. On more consideration I'm upgrading to 4 stars.

We were there for dinner and the band. The band, memory lane, was great. I got the seafood platter and it was overcooked and cold and waited an extra 7 minutes to get my side, actually none of our meals (4) were even warm. The service was sub par at best. We were charged for more drinks than we received and when the server corrected the check, those drinks went from $5,50 each to $6.50 each. Yes you read that right, they took off 2 drinks and raised the price of them! Her attitude actually sealed her tip for the night. Needless to say, we will not be back.

I was there with a group from my 1967 high school class. The server was super great and very attentive. I wish I remembered her name.

We had our annual family holiday dinner for the first time at the Lamplighter, and we will definitely be back. The service and food was terrific. The holiday atmosphere/decor was lovely and the menu included something for everyone in our large group.
