I visit Castañedas frequently when I'm in the area. When the weather is nice, the outside seating is the best. The employees are friendly and helpful. The shrimp soup, tortilla soup, fajitas, and so much more taste great! It's the perfect little place for Mexican food.

After traveling 4 hours from home we decided we needed some food in our bellies. Found this lovely spot on a whim and oh my goodness. Homemade salsa, guacamole and hot sauce that stimulate the taste buds. The entree’s were on point. Great portion sizes for the price as well. The staff was welcoming and the owner was a delight smiling from ear to ear hearing how much we loved it. Next time we are in the area there’s no doubt we will be back.

First time at Castanedas Mexican Restaurant and I really enjoyed it. I had the Tacos Al Pastor and they were delicious. 10/10 highly recommend, a must visit.
Waitress was very friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent! The “fluffy taco” is fun, it’s basically just a ground beef soft taco but the tortilla is fried and puffy. It made for a nice meal combined with the Chile Relleno (green pepper stuffed with cheese).

This was the KNIGHTS Of GOD Foundations 2nd visit to Castaneda's Mexican Restaurant in Denver Pa. Both visits turned out to be a GR8 experience. I was in tonight with a friend for dinner with our kids. It was a terrible time. They rushed us the whole time, were uninformed about their own menu, got everything wrong, and didn't help us when one of our kids spilled the drink. We wore it out on our feet left having hardly eaten with them trying to clear our meal way too soon. They gave us the receipt when we just got our food. .y 1st experience and it was. Not good..... very not good.... never again 😒
