We went here for the initial opening back in 2020 and had a horrible experience. We waited for 2 hours only to get cold food. They had a staffing problem so we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. So we tried to go again today to give them a second chance. The owner sat us outside, gave us our menus, and we waited. Four tables came in after us and still no acknowledgement. The servers all looked at us but just went to other tables that arrived after us and got served. We waited for 28 minutes! Even the owner came out to give one of the other tables their drinks and didn't acknowledgement us. We tried to give them a second chance and they overlooked us for half an hour. They're only open for barely 4 days a week, so this is clearly a cash grab or a hobby restaurant. Skip it and try elsewhere.

Loved the tropical beach decor, themed music, and food. We had the coconut shrimp, island curry bowl and fish tacos. Everything was delicious and came out quick. The owners are passionate about their restaurant and it shows in all the little details. We will definitely be back on a warmer night to sit on the patio!!

Unfortunately, the food was extremely bland, even having ordered the spicy j*** chicken. The lack of flavor in every element of the meal (appetizer, two sides, entree) was almost remarkable. Wait staff was wonderful and the atmosphere was great, but there are clearly problems in the kitchen. We did discuss our disappointment with management, and while he did agree there were issues with our food, his lack of surprise and acquiescence to our concerns spoke volumes. We will not be returning.

This place is outstanding. Great food and creative drinks. We had Island Ribs and the Mojo Strip Streak with Mango Coke Slaw and Cucumber salad. All outstanding. And the best Pina Coladas I've ever had. Highly recommended!

My friends and I were so excited to try this place. Well, it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. The squash was not roasted, it was a Boiled, soggy, unseasoned mess of a side. My steak was tough and literally inedible. The sauce it came with was a weird lemon oil. Gross. The \\\"cucumber\\\" salad was sliced, bland zucchini, the mashed sweet potatoes tasted like they came in a TV dinner tray, and the yucca fries, which is $2.00 more if chosen for a side, were freezer burnt and clearly not made in house.The drinks were not good either, I'm not even sure they had alcohol in them. We told the server how disappointed we were and she proceeded to tell us that there were issues in the kitchen, some kind of injuries and that they had only been open for a little while and we should bear with them. Skip this disaster of a restaurant! You've been warned!

This is a family owned restaurant that has had its share of problems getting started. First the pandemic then as they planned to re open they lost their chef. I think this could be a fun restaurant in the future. The j*** chicken and key lime pie which was made by the Dad was great.

The first time seeing the sign for Island Time where once was Brancyn left me interested and skeptical at the same time. Unfortunately, Denver area doesn't have any ethnic cuisine with the exception of a Mexican restaurant on Main St. I was worried that a place like this will not do well due to not attracting enough customers to stay in business. I noticed the owners seem to put a lot of effort on the outside and was hopeful they will do the same with the inside and the food. After reading the positive reviews, I gave it a try and was glad. The service was good and our waiter was attentive as noted by other reviewers. The j*** chicken entree was different than the Jamaican j*** chicken I am used to. The two sides, stewed tomatoes and rice and beans were good as well. The ribs come in big portions, tasty and very soft which I like. I normally don't like Mac and cheese, but this one had a sweet taste and was good. The menu was limited, I hope they add more selections like curry goat, curry chicken and oxtail in the future and others sides like cabbage and collard greens. The prices were very reasonable as well. The inside was nicely decorated and clean. I will definitely be back since I don't always like to drive into Lancaster to eat Caribbean food. Thanks for bringing in something different!!! I don't know how many more pizza joints, pub food or American fare they can put in Denver and Ephrata. Wish the best to Island Time and their success!!
My husband and I ordered to go tonight and everything was amazing! The new rib recipe is excellent! The ribs were tender, moist, and fell right off the bone! The sides were excellent as well! Definitely stopping by again!

food was amazing and service was good. the restaurant just opened so service is expected to be spotty especially during Covid when it is hard to find workers but they did a good job. we will be back again for the quesadillas and Cuban sandwich.

It’s nice to have another option in Denver. The environment is nice inside with music, Caribbean colors and decor. The staff was kind and friendly.My tropical mule drink was delicious as well as the dumpling appetizer.I ordered the Cuban for dinner. I wish it would have been pressed (as they are traditionally) or mentioned on the menu. The pork had a great smoked taste.
