I had to make a trip to Philly and I have been craving lao food and there's none in the area where I live. I googled the closest lao restaurant outside of the city and I was not disappointed! The sausage was delicious and the jaew green dipping sauce tasted like home. Bookmarking and will be back on my many upcoming business trips to Philly.

This is a surprising gem. Everything I’ve ordered is delicious, even food items I wouldn’t normally like are amazing. Chicken satay, crispy duck, coconut pudding, all spectacular. I can’t recommend this place strongly enough!

Always a hit! We love Bua Loy - for both take out and dining in. The flavor is delicious and the portions are wonderful. The Nam Khao salad is incredible - so crunchy! Highly recommend.

I got P1 pho tonight for takeout. The beef was very nice and the noodles were alright. But the soup was very disappointing. It doesn’t really taste like pho. Its just on the pho, I’m not too sure how the other ones are

100% Lao specialties. Best in town and surrounding. Second to none! I traveled and eat a variety of Asian dishes. This restaurant offers very unique food. Staff are super nice. This is family owned. They serve with pride!

The food is awesome. Staff very friendly. A bit pricey but so good. We moved away from the area yet sometimes make the drive out just for the food like the Lao Sausage. Be warned: the hot pepper sauce/paste that comes on the side with the sausage will HUMBLE you when your body deals with it (lots of pepper seeds), up to you to decide if the deliciousness is worth it haha
The service and food is incredible!

Review for BuaLoy Cuisine
Authentic Lao food is hard to find outside the city, but BuaLoy Cuisine delivers and honestly, it’s better than many places in the city. My wife and I love eating here because Lao cuisine has a more authentic Southeast Asian flair than most other restaurants in the area, making it one of our top picks. The flavors are bold, the dishes are well-prepared, and the quality is consistently excellent. If you’re looking for a spot that serves truly authentic Lao food, BuaLoy is definitely worth a visit!

Truly delicious food here!!
We ordered the Fried Dumplings, Khao Piak Sen, and Beef Pho. All were fantastic. Price point very reasonable! Not everywhere you can get dishes from Laos. On our list of places to come back to for sure

The place was okay. Pad Thai was pretty good. Massaman curry was not thick in consistency, more like watery which to me suggested they used less coconut milk. It would be depending on your preference, but I like it when it's more dense in consistency. They asked about the spicy level and I said mild, but it was not spicy at all. I guess they are catering to Americans who cannot take any spicy food. Or perhaps they need to look at the spicy levels?

The drunken noodles, tom yum soup, and curries are AMAZING!!! Highly recommend checking this spot out if you’re looking for delicious vegan Thai food. They also can make Thai iced tea with coconut milk instead of half and half! Updated from previous review on 2024-12-27
We've been to BuaLoy a number of times and have always loved it. The staff, the food and the service are always fantastic. We had to leave a review this time though...BuaLoy Dumplings, the Pho Ga and the Pad Thai are 1.2.and 3 the best that we've had at any Main Line Asian restaurant, and we've been to more than a few! Perfect spice, temp, and presentation.
