Party of four, raved about every aspect of the food and drinks we ordered. Great menu selection, awesome cocktails. Everything with an inventive and very tasty spin on them! Desserts were great too. Happy with the service. And the experience of eating in a gian greenhouse is unique and appealing!

This wasn't my first time at Terrain Cafe and it certainly won't be my last. I always love brunch here and usually go for the terrain breakfast which is a classic American breakfast. This time I ventured out and got the shakshuka and I'm glad I did! It was very heartwarming and seasoned well. The sourdough toast was toasted perfectly for dipping. Eggs were poached to perfection and I cleaned my plate! Other people in my party got the terrain breakfast (a classic choice) and the short ribs and eggs which got rave reviews. Our waitress was very nice but forgot to put in our drinks until after our food came out. Food was served nice and hot though. I love the decor and the overall vibe of this place. Pretty girly but that's what I like for a meal out with my friends or family.

I had the most delicious salad last week with fresh greens and roasted hazelnuts w apples, blue cheese and Arugula. I went back with a friend today (Saturday) raving to my friend to order it as well. The kitchen staff must have changed drastically as I got food that was from 2 days ago I feel. The greens were dripping in salad dressing and limp and saturated and the chicken I ordered as an extra was so rubbery it must have been left over from a party last week.My friend who ordered the grilled shrimp got half raw shrimp that had not been on a grill at all and appeared to have been microwaved. Both our meals were not edible. I have never sent a meal back but today I did. They proceeded to send out another round of Rubbery chicien and this time they doused the shrimp with pepper and blackened it. I doubt I will go back there with how inconsistent the food is. Night and Day. They took the chicken and shrimp off the bill so we handed the refund back to the waitress in a nice tip (who could not have been nicer)

Quick and prompt seating. Waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and polite. Food came out reasonable time and good portions. The tea and lattes were delicious and done perfect. Very nice, enchanting setting and pleasant ambiance.

We sat outside and the food was delicious. Bc of the warm weather and the sides being zipped closed it would have been nice to have more air circulation and water refilled more often.

I attempted to eat lunch here. I asked for a table for two and was told that there would be a wait. I said ok and I stepped to the side to wait. The woman behind me asked for a table for two and the host pulled out two menus and walked to a table. I thought it was my table- so did the woman who came in after me. I followed the host to the table and he told me the table was not for me but the other woman. I assumed she had a reservation so I went back to wait for a table. The woman still at the host stand waiting for her dining companion to arrive. I asked her if she had a reservation she said she did not have one. The host said his manager told him to take her to a table. Why would she be given a table before me when she arrived after me with no reservation and we both requested a table for 2. I arrived first, clearly I should have gotten the first available table. I know why I wasn't given the priority. Unless you want to be treated less than do not go to this place!

Terrain Cafe - Best of the bunch brunch Overall, I give Terrain my stamp of approval with 4 out of 5 plants, it is a best-of-the-bunch brunch location. If you want a beautiful ambiance, great service, and special seasonal food, this place is for you. I plan to go back very soon, I hope to see you there! Critic: Zooey Plover. Have you ever had the pleasure of eating brunch in a garden? Over spring break, I had a delicious brunch at Terrain Cafe in Devon. Terrain Cafe has a beautiful ambiance in a greenhouse. It has twinkle lights, plants, and trees everywhere. They really bring the outside, in. They played fun music and it was very calm and inviting. Terrain Cafe has a seasonal, rotating menu. All of their food is locally sourced and selected with care. When I was there the food options ranged from avocado toast to french toast, burgers, chicken pot pie, and several fresh meats and cheeses. I ordered mushroom soup to start and salmon and fries for my main course. The drinks were also unique with season flavors. For my drink, I had pomegranate lemonade. The service was very friendly and attentive and my drink and food came quickly. Before the appetizer, everyone gets a pot of bread with a seasonal flavored butter. This is a signature item for Terrain. My butter was a strawberry rhubarb salted butter and it was very nice. It was sweet and complimented the warm bread. Then the mushroom soup quickly followed. It was very rich in flavor with a drizzle of olive oil and spices. The salmon course was perfectly portioned and seasoned well but wasn't very memorable. I wished I had gotten a traditional breakfast instead. The meals I saw others getting around me looked more exciting. I do want to go back another day and try another item. I specifically saved room for dessert. The options sounded too delicious to miss. I ended up choosing their smores bar. It was chocolate and ice cream with a graham cracker crust. It was one of the best desserts I have had at a restaurant. It was crunchy, sweet, and delectable. It was the perfect way to end a lovely meal.

What a treat! A totally unique dining space, farm-to-table dishes on the fabulous menu, solid wine list, amazing cocktails and great service. It all adds up to a fabulous experience from appetizers all the way to the check! I read alot of revies praising their brunch, but I definitely recommend this for dinner... on ANY occassion!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list, and wonderful dessert. I recommend it to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

I highly recommend any of the Terrain locations, but the Devon location is especially nice. The service was great and food was fresh and delicious. They also have a fun cocktail menu. The cheese board is amazing and if you add shrimp to any salad or meals they are jumbo shrimps. The atmosphere is so pretty and bathrooms very clean. We were celebrating our friend's birthday and they brought out a dessert and candle. They also give you a coupon for the terrain garden area and you can also shop at anthropology after eating. Perfect for weekend brunch.

We had a surprise bridal brunch for my daughter here. It was very nice and service was great. It was a busy Sunday afternoon. The noise level is a little loud in side making it hard to hear conversations. But overall it was very nice and everyone had a great time. Would definitely visit again.

This is a lovely restaurant with good food, but the volume is deafening. There is zero acoustic control and everyone has to speak loudly to be heard, which multiplies across all the tables.

This was the best meal we've had at terrain. The salmon, scallops and halibut were all excellent. Creative and cooked to perfection. We appreciate the broader entree selection. Our server, Jael, was professional and friendly. Congratulations on all fronts. We are local neighbors and typically thought of terrain only for lunch.

This being my third visit - it's no surprise...I love this place. The service, and ambience are bonuses for the extraordinary dining experience. Subsequently, everyone is welcoming, and friendly, and professional. At this rate, I may wind up having everything on the quite plentiful menu, eventually.

Beet & burrata salad was lovely, halibut was cooked perfectly. It took 15 minutes after we were seated for anyone to acknowledge us first by bringing water. When a waiter finally showed up, he did being our glasses of wine pretty quickly. They brought our salad which was to share about 10 minutes later, but when we asked for plates, no one showed up with them for another 10 minutes, so we just started eating it using our bread plates. Entree was brought out in a reasonable amount of time after, but not by our waiter, and he did not check on us for another 20+ minutes. Food great, service is crap
