Was working in Donora yesterday, found this pizza spot on my search. Ordered 2 pies for my crew... pizza was excellent. Plenty of cheese 🧀 and they do not skimp on the toppings... make sure to get Della a fan or some ac in the summer 👍🤣🤣
First time. -been hearing about red-top pie for years. It did NOT disappoint!
Large Pizza in the box must've weighed 8 pounds! Every slice was like 2 slices of anybody else's pizza.
GREAT fresh cheese... The crust was beautifully crisp on the edge. The sauce had just the right amount of acidity and spice to it.
The owner Marty was friendly and kind. Brought the pizza to the table himself. A fun dude to talk to.

Still the gold standard by which all circular dough under sauce and cheese culinary offerings are to be compared. There are some close competitors in the local area. But start here first. Get your pizza hot out of the oven and find a nearby place to devour it while it’s still hot.
