this was my first time here and I'm telling you in my “outside voice” THIS WAS THE BEST BREAKFAST ON THIS SIDE OF THE VALLEY” ?? EVERYTHING WAS FRESH! COOKED HOMEMADE, not GREASY, oh my gosh! mmm THE BACON WAS FRESH AND CRISPY like BACON SHOULD BE, the SCRAMBLED EGGS WERE FRESH AND SEASONed WITH CHEESE, and the SAUSAGE LINKS WERE BOMB!! the WAITRESS WAS AWESOME! even the COFFEE WAS FRESH!

Vegetarian options: there is a handful on the menu already but the owner/cook...

Breakfast gem of the valley! We've been to the Early Bird multiple times for breakfast and always have great food and a great experience. I'd recommend a giant pancake (12"+) and the great tasting sausage links. Food comes out fast, and the staff is always friendly. Reasonable prices for a breakfast guaranteed to leave you with leftovers.

I can't say enough good things about my breakfast this morning at The Early Bird Diner. This hidden treasure is sure to be my go-to spot for breakfast every time I'm in the Mon Valley with a hankering for a veggie omelet. The staff was friendly, and the whole look of the place had a throwback vibe that filled me with nostalgia for days gone by.
