I love real buttercream frosting and finally found the bakery that makes it perfectly. Not overly sweet, the right balance of all ingredients. The cupcakes are light and yet dense. Cinnamon rolls were very good- again not overly sweet.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Clara’s Custom Cakes. First, I was surprised with a peanut butter chocolate cake from here for my bridal shower and it was SO good. It got me even more excited for my wedding because I ordered a confetti cake from Clara’s. They worked with me in customizing the cake to fit my budget, but also still give me what I wanted. It was a smooth process, and I thank Clara and Zach for that. We finally just had our wedding, and the cake was absolutely DELICIOUS. I have never had a wedding cake like that before, and I am so thrilled that mine got to be so unique and so tasty. Everyone was talking about it the rest of the night, and asking if they could take some home! I would recommend Clara’s Custom Cakes for any of your dessert needs. (Update: Went back to Clara’s to order a small version of our wedding cake for our one year anniversary. So delicious!)

I recently signed with a literary agent (a dream come true). My book is a fairytale retelling, so I asked for a custom design based on a classic tale, and I could not have imagined a better result. The cake was absolutely stunning (pics attached!). The service was great, all my questions were answered promptly, the cake was delivered on time and with the greatest care, the price was less than I said I would spend (who does that these days?), and not for nothing, but it tasted great!
