Upstairs or downstairs this place is great. I've been dinning there since 2012 every time was wonderful. Service and menu is outstanding, prices are reasonable for top cuisine and generally greeted by the owners when arriving and usually when leaving.

Good atmosphere and healthy pours on the drinks. Food prices were very reasonable. This is definitely Italian American…emphasis on the American. Flavors were good but pasta wasn’t cooked well for someone who knows. The cannoli which I was happy to see on the menu was not prefilled like many restaurants which was good, but then they drowned it in chocolate syrup and wiped cream and under filled it with the ricotta. Again Italian AMERICAN. I should be able to pick up the cannoli with my hand and for God sakes don’t give me a spoon for my pasta unless I ordered angel hair pasta in a soup! All that said for most people here it’s a solid choice but if you want more authentic ITALIAN cuisine go elsewhere.

Our first time eating at Baci last night, and I wish we could give it 10 stars. Lovely atmosphere and comfortable seating. Wonderful, friendly and fast service (we were on the patio, so pretty!) and the food was amazing. Hubby and I shared the arancini appetizer, yum! He had the Capellini al Frutti de Mare and raved about it. I indulged in the Trenette alla Vecchia Maniera, which was to die for. Light, delicate pasta with an amazing sauce. Neither of us could finish our meals, the portions were so generous, yet we did manage to share a Chocolate Mousse cake that was out of this world. Excellent service, fair prices and amazing food. Can't wait to go back with friends to try out the rest of the menu items!

Our party of seven went here last night, and not a single person at our table enjoyed their meal. My son ordered a medium cheeseburger, but it came out so overcooked it was like a hard hockey puck. It was completely inedible.

Things went from bad to dangerous when I ordered him a dessert described on the menu as vanilla and chocolate ice cream covered with a hard chocolate shell. While I stepped away to the restroom, the dessert arrived — and it was nothing like what was listed. Instead, my son, who has a severe tree nut allergy, was given something with a cherry filling and visible nuts.

When I immediately brought this up to the waitress, she went to “check” and returned saying they didn’t know what kind of nuts they were because the desserts aren’t made in-house. Not only is this unacceptable from a food safety standpoint, but a manager never once came over to check on my son, apologize, or show any concern whatsoever.

This restaurant took zero responsibility for serving something completely different from what was described — to a child with a severe food allergy. This could have had life-threatening consequences, and their lack of care or accountability is alarming.

It leaves nice rustic impression.
We had tasty eggplant rollatini, Tagliatelle alla Boglonese, Tortellini Salsicia, and pasta fagioli.
Burger needs some work to be done.
Guinness beer was fabulous.

Dined here on 6/14 with another couple. This was our first visit.
I'd say overall the experience was good but not good enough that I'd make a quick return. Service was okay, but not exceptional. I ordered a martini and when I was done my glass was whisked away and I was not asked if I wanted another. Same with my wife's diet coke. After our meals were delivered there was no follow up to see if everything was okay, bread basket was not refilled and we were not asked if we would like more and the basket was promptly removed once empty. We had a taste of the fried calamari and I have had way better. Chewy and not very tasty. I had the trenette pasta dish and my wife had the tortellini with sausage. Both were served hot and were good. Nice flavor but not like OMG good. Dessert was chocolate mousse cake which we shared. Nice presentation on the dessert, and it was tasty. They forgot my wife's coffee which we had to ask for as they brought the bill over while we ate dessert and had charged us for it. Overall I'd say this is an okay experience and a decent meal at reasonable prices, but I would not rush back. Try it and perhaps you'll feel differently.

Ate in Heart of Oak Pub. Good food, extremely busy. Waiters tried their best. VERY loud and having a full band didn't help. Very crowded. Will eat outside next time.
