I really want to like Borough Bagel especially since they have better tasting bagels than Barrel Bagel. However, they forgot sausage on my Sausage, Egg, and Cheese bagel. How do you forget that?? Anyway, I’ll still give them a shot, but if it occurs again I will stop going.

Okay bagels, horribly rude service from the owner/manager(?) every time. If you go here order online so you don’t have to interact with them. We’ll be finding a different place because after the 5th and 6th rude encounter it’s a shame.

Ordered - rather specifically - an onion bagel with pork roll, one egg, and extra cheese.
Received an onion bagel with pork roll, two eggs, and so little cheese - which I had paid extra for - I could barely taste it. There were traces of runny cheese, mostly on the wrapper, that I could see.
I can't eat a lot of egg due to dietary and health issues and the sandwich ended up in the trash - a waste of roughly $10 given the upcharge for cheese. A small amount of egg I can handle, but this was the opposite of what I'd asked for. It was surprising given how attentive the staff seemed.
When I go to Manhattan Bagel, they have never gotten it wrong, and are nearly gleeful with my request for an "ungodly" amount of cheese and minimal egg.
As for Borough Bagels - not a great experience here.

This place can’t seem to figure out how to get an order, right. Aside from that, they always run out of everything. I’m not sure why they can’t have their supply meet the demand. It’s not a difficult concept.

Sesame bagel. Scallion smear. Legit.
Whoever invented the original bagel would walk into this place and demand their bagelfication process.

I've never had a bad bagel here. Get there at 7AM when they open and get a warm one. Their coffee is really good, and wherever they get their pastries from is very good. For the love of god don't get a bagel at Dunkin when this place is right down the road (literally).
