I've heard a lot about Coach's from some serious cheesesteak fanatics. I've been meaning to try them for months, I happened to be in the area one morning. I was excited when I saw they were open at 10am (but would've waited around if they didn't open until 11am). When I went in I ordered my cheesesteak: Cooper Sharp, with fried onions. As I finished saying that I was told "sorry, let me check something. We're serving breakfast until 11 and usually don't have any steak cut." I said no problem, I'll come back at 11am. They told me "don't worry about it, we'll make it for you". That was pretty impressive because I learned as I waited for my food just how busy these guys were with a ton of takeout orders. I didn't eat in the restaurant but it's definitely an option, plenty of tables in a well lit and clean dining room. I grabbed mine to go and made it to my destination in a ten minutes...the food was still piping hot. Now, I was also able to grab some wings since I heard those were good too. I opted for the Spicy Garlic sauce, which in all honesty is probably just their garlic sauce with some buffalo mixed in. No worries, it had a good flavor and there was no shortage of sauce. My only issue with the wings is the size. I'm sure I am in the minority here but I actually prefer small wings, these things are massive. But at $1 each I'm sure most people appreciate this. Now onto the steak. They use sirloin at Coach's and I honestly am fine with either Sirloin or Ribeye as long as it's not full of gristle and cut right. They also use Liscio's rolls which are some of the best around. The onions were cut the perfect size, some places it looks like Ray Charles does morning prep, not here! Every onion cut uniform and not too large plus they're were cooked perfectly. The cheese was evenly mixed through the meat that was seasoned well. Maybe a little too much pepper but at this point I'm splitting atoms. The cheesesteak was phenomenal, so good that you should absolutely make the trip to visit. There aren't many GOOD cheesesteak spots in this part of Bucks county and calling most of the GOOD is a stretch. Coach's is a GREAT cheesesteak spot and worth every penny!

To the owner: you were a little rude. I chose your place to go after a colonoscopy procedure and not being able to eat for two days and the drink from hell. I was looking forward to it. I understand your attitude because I was in the business a Long time and I understand the pressure. I worked in New Hope as a kitchen manager at Havana. I also worked all over in the kitchen in tourist spots. By the way I came out of anesthesia. You were, well you had to get it together. Your food is overpriced. That burger, get rid of the Bill Gates garbage. And the cheese steak what is the odd taste? You have to fix the food. I know that kitchen is small, build it and buy bigger. GOD is always holding your hand. You can do this. Pocos started the same way you did, but then blew it up. Calm down, I forgive you. If you have a little faith in your customers, they will love you. Walk with GOD, not the government. They don't matter, you do.

Have eaten in person and takeout. Really have enjoyed everything. Takeout wasn't the best experience, however, it was simply due to packaging which is an easy fix. It's a nice, small shop and the workers/owner are incredibly kind. Cheesesteaks are amazing too.

Passing through Doylestown my friend and I found Coach's a great stop for a Philly cheesesteak. Counter employee was helpful and they served our order to our table. The steak was delicious on a tasty roll and big enough for leftovers at a fair price for the size and quality. We'll be back!

Really good cheesesteak in Doylestown. If you are heading to the theater, stop here before for one, it was excellent.

Rolls on the burgers are awesome. Nice kids working there. Sports on the TV so no one hears political arguing. Hometown feel for sure.

Simple, no frills just a warm inviting place that was evidenced by the genuine smile and greeting . I had the chance to exprience all of that during one of my rare days off from work. Michaela's friendly disposition and Eddie's genuine desire to please a new customer certainly made this visit into the "Must Visit Again" list. ?A number of the County's schools' mascot posters that adorns the wall exudes local vibes ( the original fireplace is a treat to see, doodles, scribbles and all! ), grab a table next to the window and enjoy the busy activity outside along State street that makes this Doylestown borough location worth the stop.* Make sure to have a few quarters for the parking..the enforcers are great at their job!?

In the heart of Doylestown, you can find one of the best places for wings and cheesesteaks. The wings were massive and meaty. The wing by are slightly breaded and they came out perfectly crisp 10. The sauces were spicy and tasty. The steak was jumbo and tasty and can't beat the price of $9 either. Overall, great value and price equals a big win in my book.
