The Candlewyck never had great food but it was just OK for bar food. After these new owners came in, the restaurant and food really went downhill. Food was awful, prices were awful and evidently their cleaning practices were just as awful since now they’re closed. And they don’t change anything online to show they’re closed! It’s too bad new owners couldn’t improve on a just OK place. My bet is they open back up in a few weeks and serve the same garbage menu they had prior to shutting down.

The Wyck is easily the best restaurant in Buckingham. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and you can tell they take pride in their food and service. The staff is welcoming, the portions are generous, and the overall experience never disappoints.

New owners are stepping up the menu offerings while keeping the favorites. Dated interior, but clean and well kept.

Was there for lunch this afternoon. Nice little sports type bar. I got a cheesesteak for lunch. Very bland did not taste like a cheese steak at all. And got a coke as well. Coke tasted like it came out of a previously used beer spout. Like the lines weren’t cleaned very well or new lines weren’t put in. My mom and daughter didn’t find anything wrong but sorry my taste buds can tell when something is not right. This place does not know how to make cheesesteaks taste like cheesesteaks

They really only cater and care to regulars in here, and it’s very obvious. Servers and the bartender that works Friday night (he's so rude) seem like they don’t want to serve anyone but regulars. Food is just getting worse and worse and nothing here is enjoyable anymore. Also very expensive for what used to seem like a dive/comfort bar.
