Fun atmosphere and unique menu, really cool spot for pub food and German eats. Would definitely go back.

The food is great. Some German selections. They didn't have a selection of cider, but did have a couple good IPA's.

MUSTARD! I know it sounds weird, but they had the best home made mustard I have ever eaten. I want to go back just for that. Also some of the best poutine I have had in a long

It's always a good time at Devil's Acre Tavern. The food is great, and they offer something for everyone. Dustin and team were spot on for service and the place was rockin' on a Friday night with no empty tables or seats. Make sure you try this place out!

Unfriendly rushed staff. 15.00 fries! Empty chilly place. Over priced cocktails.Would not recommend!

Our first visit was truly memorable. Shayla walked us through the menu and made excellent recommendations. The pork schnitzel (chicken is also an option) with spaetzle and gravy as a side were amazing...just like my Mom used to make. The Devil's Disco waffle fries with Poutine were delicious, as were the Roast Beef on Weck, and deviled eggs. They carry a variety of delicious beers on tap to round out the outstanding meal. The owner, Nathan Hugill even stopped by to say hello. Excellent value for quality and portions, this family friendly restaurant will become a regular. We can't wait to go back!

We have eaten at this restaurant many times. While I have loved the German-inspired cuisine and craft beers, our food last night was monstrously salty. EVERYTHING was salty. Our goulash was salty. My sausage platter (including the sauerkraut) was salty. Even my wife's wedge salad was excruciatingly salty. I'm not sure if the chef lost his sense of taste or was actively seeking to displease the customers. My wife was furious, and we will not be eating here again given reasonable alternatives, such as the Plumsteadville Inn and Piper Tavern.

Went for brunch and ended up ordering a burger because the choices were pretty dismal. The service was ok, but there were only 3 tables. Because it looks like a renovated car garage, it was also very cold throughout.

3 or 4 stars - prices are very high for "wursts", hot dogs and a $10 burger. Entrees are well above $20. My chopped salad was good and fresh, however for $15 I would have appreciated more than a bowl of romaine. There were a few (delicious - house made?) croutons and barely any tomatoes and cukes. It as $15 for a huge side salad. Proteins were extra. Alot extra. $8 for chicken, $12 for shrimp. Um - $27 - nope. Can't do it. So I ate a big-ass bowl of lettuce. My friends ordered burgers, dogs and sides - the asparagus was amazing (I had 2 bites) and the fried rice (Side is $8) had a bit of a kick to it. Very nice food and a great variety of beers/ales/porters etc. Our server, Q, was kind and attentive. I will be back but I need to bring more money!!!!

What a gem. It’s rare to find a spot in doylestown where great food matches the high energy atmosphere. Kudos to the amazing pork Shnitzel and short rib goulash. Reminds me a lot of restaurants in Vermont where there’s a casual vibe but the food standards remain very high. I judge a place by how often I would go and can easily say this would be a twice a month spot.
