The empanadas are good. I like how they are fresh. We tried corn and samosa in vegetarian, I think samosa was a bit bland but having it with chipotle aioli makes up for it. We also tried buffalo chicked and bacon w dates.

It pains me to have to rate a one star but after the service I received today, it was only fitting. I placed over a $100 order online to be delivered. When I got the order half of the empanadas I ordered were totally not the flavors I ordered. When I contacted the store, they told me they couldn’t find my order, and had another employee try to find the order. After several minutes, the order was found. I confirmed what I was missing and what I received. I was told by the girl working that they “weren’t sure if I could get a refund”. At that point I requested to speak with a manager. I was then told there was no manager on shift and someone would contact me tomorrow. I don’t understand how this mistake could’ve even happened. As someone who’s worked in customer service and the food business, orders should be checked for quality and to ensure the order is accurate to what was placed. There should also be a manager on shift or on call when issues like this arise. The only reason I placed the order was because the bacon and date was available, which is my favorite. The fact they didn’t give us ANY of the 6 bacon and date ordered, along with other substituted flavors, is very upsetting.

Empanada Mama is such a fun spot! They have so many unique empanada options plus a variety of sauces to go with them. Everything we tried was flavorful and delicious—definitely a place worth visiting if you’re craving something different and tasty.

Unfortunately, the customer service leaves much to be desired. I called ahead and mentioned I’d be paying in cash to receive the small discount they offer for avoiding credit card processing fees. When I arrived, I handed the cashier $50, and she replied, “I can’t break that.”
I asked what they do in situations where customers have cash but they can’t provide change—especially since this shouldn’t affect the cash price I was quoted for my (sizeable) order. Instead of explaining the policy, she scoffed and said, “This is above my pay grade.” When I clarified that I was simply asking for future reference, she replied, “I don’t get paid enough for this.”
Rather disappointing behavior from someone in a customer-facing role. It also came across as though she had just learned a new phrase and was determined to use it.

We like this place but find it can be inconsistent. Korean beef is really good. Mushroom when available is really good. Mexican corn good too. I’ve had bad luck with the shredded chicken ones. Pepper jack chicken and Chimichurri chicken tonight were basically just pastry. Nothing much inside. Tasted like thick crusty pastry. I wish they looked like the photos.

Firstly, love the empanadas ! And the dips. New menu every week with some items that dont change plus seasonal flavors. Dips are also the best ! But, they always mess up the order. Always check the box before you leave the place. A wrong flavor empanada or not having the dips in the boxes. For someone who lives 30 mins away I can't drive back to correct the order or get my dip, but it definitely ruins the experience.

Our favorite place in all of Doylestown! Order to-go or enjoy them at the picnic tables on a nice day. I love how the flavors rotate, so there is always something new and delicious to try. Make sure to get the Korean Beef (with Asian dipping sauce) and the cocoa caramel bars if it’s your first visit!

These are the best empanadas ever. The crust was truly amazing. It was a little tricky to find being located in a building behind the actual address. I would definitely recommend searching this place out and will definitely go again when in the area. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well.

These empanadas are the best over ever eaten. Could not recommend this place more. We did have a little bit of trouble finding it because it's kinda in the back side of the main street buildings but we figured it out and I'm so glad we did!
This is one of my favorite lunch spots when I'm working in Doylestown. Food is fast and delicious. The staff is kind and attentive. I've ordered from here often and I've never received a mistake in an order. Sometimes I wish there was more than one vegan option offered per day but it's thoughtful that the option rotates so it's not always the same thing. I've tried all their vegan empanadas and they're all perfect! Also, I appreciate the business offering a vegan sauce. Most restaurants in Doylestown have vegan options without a vegan sauce to go with them. The vegan chipotle sauce is great!
