Refused a very pregnant woman the bathroom.

I am 8 months pregnant. I look very obviously pregnant. I walked in the restaurant and asked if I could please use their bathroom. The male older gentlemen host said no because I didn't have a reservation. As I start to walk out, a woman waiting to be seated says "but she's pregnant". The male older gentlemen host consulted with another male older gentlemen and they both proceeded to refuse me the bathroom. That is no way to treat a pregnant woman. I have never eaten here but I will never because they do not know how to treat women.

I invite everyone reading reviews on this restaurant to filter and look at their one and two star reviews and notice how the restaurant responds to unfavorable reviews. They take no responsibility and often victimize themselves using exaggerating words such as "demanding" and "unreasonable". That in itself says enough to me about the people running this restaurant.

It was our first time here and we celebrated our 19th Anniversary. I just love the place and overall experience. From the time we arrived till when we left we were treated with amazing service. Their wine and drink list are impressive. I loved the variety of small plates and appetizers on menu. The entrees were impressive and I got the filet which was so good. My husband got short ribs which was also so good!!! They even had a small band next to us which we thought would be loud but ended up being so nice and relaxing. They even sang our wedding song. The night was just perfect in every way. We will definitely be back for more! Highly recommended!!!!

I wanted to dislike this place for being too “New York”. This is Bucks County after all. I went for dinner and it completely changed my opinion! Delicious entrees, tasty cocktails and an intimate ambiance with fantastic live music convinced me that this place is a breath of fresh air in the local restaurant scene. The braised short rib was cooked well and the portions were generous. My only complaint is the price of the drinks, but for the entertainment, it was worth paying a bit more. The small plates are also a treat, with a large selection to choose from. What a pleasant surprise, I only wish the restaurant were larger!

Kid-friendliness: I would say this is not a place to bring children.

The owner of this establishment has no respect for women. He was very rude to me as a PAYING CUSTOMER! I paid for overpriced food and was shocked and appalled by the way I was spoken to by the owner when I attempted to use the restroom and denied access. Don't patronize this establishment.

The owner continues to insist that we did not request the table, but we did…

To the owner:

We spoke to the waiter and requested the table, and I even approached him to confirm after you repeatedly claimed that we had not asked, which you are still asserting here. When the waiter confirmed in front of you that we had indeed requested the table, instead of apologizing, you told us you were closing the table and that we could leave, as if we still wanted to stay.

You raised your voice at us, accused us of lying, disrespected our honor. The restaurant did not have a waiting list at that time, evidenced by the fact that when we left, there were many empty tables and you were outside trying to bring in customers.

The negative reviews are not because you were unable to accommodate us. If you had politely approached and said something like, "Sorry, the waiter didn’t inform me, and we actually have a waiting list," it would have been a different situation. The issue is that you were rude and unprofessional, handling the situation in a manner that was neither polite nor civilized. Even if, hypothetically, we had taken the table without asking, which was not the case, it would not justify your behavior.

You approached our table shouting on two occasions, as if you were speaking to children. It’s fortunate you have cameras, as your response here seems to attempt to rewrite events and distract from the fact that multiple reviews reflect this same rude behiavior.

Terrible and unprepared manager. Nice staff and good food.

I came with my wife and my dog, we were sitting outside and another couple arrived with a dog. We requested one of the staff members if we could put one of the two empties tables together, he told me he would ask someone to check. Our waitress arrived, cleaned the table and told us we could use it. My friend told her other 2 people were coming and she said it was okay for the tables.

The manager arrived, very rude, telling they can’t seat by themselves and we explained the waitress gave the okay. After 3 minutes, the other couple we mentioned arrived too. The manager came again, very impolite, telling us they can’t stay because they can’t just arrive and sit in the table the waitress gave the okay.

He clearly didn’t ask the waitress, as she confirmed to us she said that.

Different from the fake review from one hour ago (probably a friend requested from the manager), we talked with people outside who saw the whole situation and they told us they don’t go to this place anymore because the manager is very harsh with staff members.

Congrats, more lies!
I was already at the table, the first two friends came to us in the corner and didn’t seat, they asked the waiter who was cleaning the table and informed us he would ask someone to check.

When our waitress arrived, she finalized the cleaning and told us it was okay for them to use this table and put it together. She also said it was okay to have in this table the other 2 people who were coming.

Yes, my friend said she would leave a bad review and she did, which is fair, considering the level of service and rudeness of the manager (not only with us, but with staff as well, also confirmed by some people outside the restaurant).

Someone telling the truth about an establishment in a review should not be considered a threat, it is the true reality and that’s the reason we have tools like the review on google, so people who don’t know the place can see what really happens.

Again, we did nothing without consent, the waitress told us the people who arrived can be accommodated and they knew 4 people were coming.

That’s the kind of behavior you get when you disrespect customers.

And there is no questions that Our dogs are more respectful and courteous than the manager.

You will either love the place or hate it. Only stopped in for a drink to check it out. Drinks were good, probably has best expresso martini in town. In the end, it wasn't the spot for us, but we enjoyed the experience.

I went there several times over the course of a several days stay in the area. I had the salmon one day and the Middle Eastern plate the next day. I also had the chocolate souffle. All were superb. The cocktails are the best I've ever had, by a large margin. I can't even name a close second.

Unfortunately, today I had a very bad experience in this restaurant in a day that should have only good vibes. I had just arrived with my wife and my dog to meet 6 friends of ours. After a few minutes after we arrived, the manager came and said in a very rude tone that there too many people and that we should have asked them but my friends did, as we always do every time we go out together the eight of us. “no more, no more” he said, more than once. Instead of trying to find a solution, he said that he had checked with all the staff and said that no one allowed us to be there. He surely thought we were all liars, what a disrespectful behavior for a restaurant manager. At that time I left the restaurant with my dog because I wouldn’t not even order after that.

If you go to this restaurant, try to stay away from this manager. Food looked delicious.
