My wife and I love going to Genevieve's for either brunch or dinner. The food is top-notch. The service and atmosphere is great. The owner/chef, Joey, is very friendly and makes the best omelets and French toast I have ever had.

My husband and I have dined at Genevieve’s consistently at least every other week….sometimes dinner followed by brunch the next day….for five years plus…the food is a cut above any other restaurant in the area….Joey the owner and chef accommodates our special requests with friendliness and deliciousness…we no longer order omelettes or French fries anywhere else …..service is personable and efficient always. Bringing our dog with us to the beautiful garden in the back, he was served a generous portion of chicken on the house. He wants to come back often too!

The service is attentive in the atmosphere is great especially like it in warm weather months where we can sit outside in the patio area and garden. Probably the best coffee I have ever had at a brunch place. Cozy atmosphere in a converted apartment space, front room has a lot of glass so a litle loud, planning to check out the patio when it's not raining. Avocado toast with bacon was a good way to get healthy AND unhealthy fats all in one go!

We came here to celebrate a birthday, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. It took an hour and a half for our meals to arrive, and the only reason we even knew why was because we overheard the server at the table next to us explain that the chicken dish was holding up the kitchen — something our own waitress never came back to update us on.
When the food finally arrived, it wasn’t worth the wait. The lamb chops were served extremely rare — too rare to eat — and the stuffed chicken was dry and missing the bacon wrap it was supposed to have (instead, a side of bacon was placed on the plate). The one highlight was the lobster and crab carbonara, which was fairly good, but it wasn’t enough to redeem the rest.
To make matters worse, we watched the chef come out and offer free desserts to the table next to us for their long wait, while our party — who endured the same delay — wasn’t acknowledged at all. I had to send the lamb back to be cooked properly, and by the time it returned, we’d already been there two hours and had to have it boxed up to go.
Overall, the service was inattentive, the food was poorly executed, and the handling of the situation left a bad impression. I would not recommend this restaurant and would advise others to look elsewhere.

We went here for my husbands birthday and had a pretty terrible experience. I ordered the crab stuffed chicken which apparently was taking the chef 1.5 hours to make. This delayed our entire tables food by almost 2 hours. Another table, who was seated at the same time as us, was also having the same issue, but they complained about it. They then were offered multiple apologies and desserts. We were not - just because we weren’t loudly complaining. We were finally served our food - and it was the most dry flavorless chicken I have had at a more upscale restaurant. My friend ordered the lamb chop and it was served raw. She had to return it and then ask for a to go box, because it was almost 9pm by then. The only food that was good was my husbands carbonara ravioli. Will not be coming back!

Had dinner last night with my wife and it was amazing! Joey the chef came out and made sure everything was up to snuff. Amber our server was excellent and attentive. And the food was excellent. So well prepared and food was delicious. Will definitely go back and highly recommend!

Genevieves kitchen is a quaint restaurant offering unseasoned food. The shrimp, corn, tomato soup tasted like it wasn't fresh. The pierogies only tasted like the jam it was topped with. I had the fish of the day and it tasted extremely bland. My friend had the lamb and it was butchered in a way that made it difficult to eat plus it also wasn't super flavorful. The couple next to us also felt the food they got was underseasoned and asked for salt and pepper. With the prices we paid I would have assumed the chef had a strong palate. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The wait staff and atmosphere were the only stars at Genevieves.
