My friends swear by the cheesesteak here and I’ve been on somewhat of a long journey to find one in Doylestown that will bring this search to a close. After two visits, I’m just not exactly sure what I’m missing? I’ve enjoyed it both times but I never felt like I had to eat it again.

Maybe I’ll just stick with the pizza or try a different sandwich.

Overall, would recommend but just tamper expectations with the cheesesteak.

Cheesesteaks and pizza were unreal. Friendly staff and great looking restaurant.

As a native New Yorker who used to live on Long Island , this is the best pizzeria I have come across after living here for nearly four years. The chicken cutlet is perfection, the cheese and sauce ratio is delicious, and the customer service and ambience want warm, inviting, and made me feel welcome. My only wish is that I lived closer after driving from Delaware County- but I will be back when I’m the area ! I am happy to finally know why the MVP (square slice with multiple sauces ) is the real MVP- it did not disappoint !

Friendly staff and cheesesteak was massive, ordered to go and surprised the bread held up so well.

Went to Lucatelli's because the place I usually go to is closed for vacation. Never again. Pizza was not great. Pizza slice served luke-warm, at best. Sauce was flavorless. I would up throwing half of it out. Sorry Lucatelli's.

Omg. I got the drunkin grandma chicken cheese steak last night. I’ve never tasted anything like it. So big that I’m having it as lunch today as well. Amazing!!!

We LOVE Lucatelli’s Pizzeria! The best food and customer service. Even when DoorDash messes up the delivery, Lucatelli’s goes out of their way to fix it.

Super Bowl Sunday: ordered at 10:15 am for 5:45 pickup. Currently it is 7:00 and still waiting. Total disaster. A bunch of poor teens trying to expedite. Owners should be ashamed of themselves. There are carts and carts of orders then have been left behind due to the start of the game. So sad. Should have closed ordering instead of being a money hungry disaster of a business.

One of the biggest issues today with restaurants is the quality of the ingredients... and that is where this place really shines. You can tell from the first bite that everything is fresh and made-to-order. The portions are generous and while not the cheapest, the value-per-dollar is there and I can easily justify eating at this restaurant. I highly recommend Lucatelli's to anyone that wants high-quality food and for anyone who hasn't had one, try the Italian donut... amazing!

Ordered 2 large pizzas. Said it would take 40 minutes. Hour later still waiting . Asked front of house staff if they had an eta and they basically ignored me. Ended up leaving and getting food somewhere else. Almost 2 hours later I get I text my order was ready. Ended up paying for pizzas we never even ate! They really really need work with timing and staff.

I’ve known Dave’s pizza skills since Maple Glen Pizza and later at Brick and Barrel, so when I heard he opened his own spot in Doylestown, I had to check it out. Let’s just say the drive from Lansdale was totally worth it.

We ordered a cheesesteak, a chicken ranch pizza, and the bufala pizza, and everything was fantastic. The crust stood out right away—it held up perfectly even after the drive home, staying crisp and sturdy without losing any flavor. The bufala pizza, with its San Marzano tomatoes and fresh dough, had such a clean, authentic taste.

The chicken ranch pizza really impressed me. The homemade chicken cutlets made all the difference—you can tell they take the time to do things right. And the fact that they use extra virgin olive oil instead of canola or vegetable oil is a big win for my family.

The service was just as good as the food. The owner’s son was greeting people at the door, which added a nice, welcoming touch. The space itself is great too—they’ve done a beautiful job updating it.

Dave’s experience and attention to detail really show here. If you’re looking for high-quality pizza, it’s definitely worth the trip.
