Stopped here on a fluke when we visited Doylestown. We had the grilled egg tacos (only during Sunday brunch) and they were amazing.
We also got the chicken nachos which were super good! The drinks were very yummy! I had the watermelon basil margarita which was awesome. The place has a great vibe and is great decor and atmosphere . Also a HUGE shoutout to Owen who sat us and served us. He is exceptional!!!

If I could give it a zero I would.
I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and got a bowl full of lettuce w stale croutons.
My husband ordered a mushroom quesidalla and received a child's portion.
Waitress barely spoke to us and never checked back.
Drinks were fine. Overpriced lousy food.
Will not go back

Lula is a gem of Doylestown! My daughter and I were going through Doysleston on a trip to tour colleges and happened upon Lula! It is a restaurant filled with warmth, charm and the most delicious margarita I have had! The staff feels like a family and treats you like you just walked into their home. The spicy margarita was just what the hot summer afternoon ordered. My duaghter had the carnitas tacos and said they were the best she has ever had. Of course we had to pair them with queso and guacamole which I highly recommend! I had the shrimp tacos and will crave them when I get home to SF!
I could go on and on about the food and drink but I just also just loved being there. It was clear that the bartenders and servers absolutely loved being there and took great care to make sure everything was perfect and that we felt at home! I highly recommend a trip to Lula - but you will likely need 2 to sample the delicious cocktail menu! I am hoping my daughter chooses a college nearby so we can make another trip!

Great food, but service was pretty dang awful. Went for lunch with only a handful of tables occupied. The server tells us they have this system where all the severs help all the tables, and to signal to them you need something you have to put up a little card.
But this system clearly doesn’t work well, as it doesn’t drive any accountability for any single person. We had 4 adults and 3 kids at the table, two of the adults got food quick, the other 2 got their food— no exaggeration— 15 minutes after. One of which, had the same exact taco order! And when the order did arrive, it was incorrect.
Same story with drinks. Same story with the check.
Maybe it was an off day, maybe it was this clever “system” they’ve thought up.
I reluctantly tipped a very small amount, but this is a rare instance where I was so tempted to leave nothing. And I believe I would have been justified in it.
My recommendation: pass on this spot, plenty of other amazing restaurants in the area. I didn’t even mention the price point- very overpriced for what it is $15 for guac? No complimentary chips and salsa? Not worth it, with any luck these guys will fold and a better restaurant will take over the great location.

Great spot just wish they would serve some other higher end brands of tequila. You have to drink their one brand.

So mid. From start to finish. Overpriced, and hurt my stomach. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the company I had with me. Skip this one.

My husband and I were excited to
Come her to celebrate Cinco de Mayo a day today (Sunday). I checked the website to make sure they are opened, which they were. We packed up and headed over to D-town and walked to the door at 3:30 pm to see the light were off. Sign on door says Sunday open @12. The doors were closed and the lights were off. No sign that said restaurant closed. I’m just really disappointed as this is a lack of professionalism for their customers.
On the bright side we are city people who are spoiled by good margarita and this place has satisfyingly good margaritas and food.

Staff are friendly and great! Drinks are also good here. More of a drinks place, than a dining in spot. Music is a little loud, and there's only one bathroom. Priced a little high for the food. $20 for a chicken quesadilla with chipotle dip.
Great spot for a relaxed meal. Service was excellent and the food is quite good.

I don’t often leave reviews, but I truly feel like Lula’s should absolutely have a higher rating than a 4.5 on here and I felt the need to write one lol the greatest spicy margarita I have ever had & incredible flavors with every taco bite. Awesome service and setting for an impromptu date night. Will be back!
