By far the worst Gumbo I've ever had. I'm not sure but I think they used butter in the roux, because it was very dark and tasted burnt (as did the very small amount of sausage). The Avocado toast was good, bloody mary good. I'd eaten here once in the past and recall liking quite a bit, so maybe it's just a matter of menu choices.
We enjoyed our visit. The wings with alabama white sauce were my favorite item, but everything was solid. They hooked my dog up with a giant bowl of ice water too. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Doylestown.
the bar area is nice and theres seating outside but if youre inside at the booths, its DARK. and theres no candles on the table. so if youre eyes arent what they used to be, maybe bring a flashlight. multiple tables around us were using them
