I have not been to the NORD Bakery but have had the pleasure of buying NORD bread on Saturdays at the Farmer's Market in Doylestown. I've found every loaf of theirs to be delicious but the one I've found especially flavor-full is their "Energy Loaf" made from a mix of unbleached white and rye flour plus multiple seeds and berries.

Picking up a fresh loaf (or 3!!!) of Nord's bread has now become the highlight of our week! We love trying all the special monthly flavours, but even the plain sourdough batard is amazing! So far my all time favourites have been the wintery fig-cardamom and the oatmeal-apple. Delicious!!!
Let's get this bread!I stumbled upon Nord Bread at a local farmer's market and was immediately a fan of both the bread and the people making it. It would be fair and justified to give Nord five stars just on taste. The bread has big flavor, pleasing body, and perfect texture. Feel free to start buying it for that reason alone. But there is more! Their adherence to old school bread making techniques makes bread that is both more digestible and more nutritious. On top of all that they create new flavors every month that run the gamut from sweet to savory and incorporate seasonal and local flavors.But enough of my yammering. Go throw your sad loaves out the window and get some Nord bread today!

5 Stars aren’t enough to show how Good Nord Bread actually is! Their Apple Flax is one of my favorites - but they keep rotating flavors to keep us all guessing! Danny and Bianca have really creative and diverse backgrounds that I believe help them create all of their amazing breads!
