I had a very frustrating experience at the Doylestown Starbucks Saturday. There was a large event taking place outside, and the store was clearly unprepared to handle the increased volume of customers. The space was overcrowded—far beyond what appeared to be safe or compliant with fire code—and I even observed pets being allowed inside, which is unacceptable in a food and beverage setting.

The store itself was disorganized and unsanitary, with trash bins overflowing and no visible management presence. It seemed to be run entirely by a group of unsupervised young employees, which contributed to the overall chaos. Despite placing our orders ahead of time through the Starbucks app, it still took more than 45 minutes to receive our drinks. This level of delay and poor service is not what I expect from Starbucks.

It is disappointing that such a large company could not anticipate higher traffic during a public event and schedule proper staff coverage, or even pull in additional support from another nearby location. Customers should not have to wait nearly an hour for a mobile order while also enduring a messy and poorly managed store environment.

Overall, this reflects very poor management and an unacceptable standard of service. I hope Starbucks takes immediate steps to correct these issues, as this experience was far below expectations.

The code across the street was so awful i couldn't drink it. Starbuck to the rescue, for myself and my Honey. If it was organic, and GF pastry options, we would not waste our time going else where.

Hoards of teenagers frequent this starbucks. They are noisy and ill-behaved as all unsupervised teenagers are. Their behavior make sitting on the porch impossible. Management is indifferent to their presence.

You ask for coffee, pay an absurd amount, then they want a tip? I want to say to them, honey, you're not a barista, you serve coffee. They are not grande and some other fake word, they are large or small.

It's starbucks, a very nice one, but it's just starbucks. They put my coffee house out of business. It is a beautiful location to just sit on the front porch, Relax and drink your coffee or talk with friends and community.
The building it is in Is highly historic and has an awesome history definitely read up on it.

Just BEWARE if you come here anytime after school hours this Starbucks literally looks like after school care for all the pre-teens of Doylestown. Even with noise canceling headphones it was very difficult to focus on my studying because they were all running around, goofing off, being loud and constant walking in and out. To their credit the manager did try their best to corral the kids and at the very least make sure they had purchased something in order to there. I truly felt like I was in a middle school cafeteria. Definitely will not be returning to attempt any focused work in the weekday afternoon hours.

Always great service here but I wanted to add that my day was made when they wrote Banana on all of my items. Small acts of humanity and silliness are 10/10 in my book! My favorite location. Cheers!! You guys are awesome!

Really only two options, Good experience (4 star) ... or bad experience (2 star). Stopped by for two hot chocolates last Saturday evening 40 min before closing. 2 employees on site, no other customers. Summary:
- Hot chocolates were weak on chocolate flavor ... typically at other stores these are very good and a treat :-(
- Employees were ready to go home ... no hellos, they were chatting, took a couple minutes before they acknowledged we were there at the counter :-(
- No prior customers were lingering, but some tables still had litter from prior customers which had not been cleaned up. When leaving, they had begun mopping and did not step back from their effort to let us pass or say good night / thanks :-(

I don't write reviews at all but a basic customer service standard and beverage quality at any Starbucks is expected. The employees were young, but I blame poor training and management although they should know better.

Drink was terrible. Ordered an Oatmilk shaken espresso, but they didn't have oatmilk. Substituted with Almond milk but the drink was only 80% filled and not shaken at all even though it's in the name. Then I bought a mug because the sign said holiday sale 50% off, but after checkout noticed it was at regular price so tried to return but cashier said no returns which is ridiculous because it literally says on the receipt that it can be returned within 30 days. The cashier acted very dismissive and told me to call the Starbucks number because he can't help me. Terrible service overall, and I also can't shake off the tone and looks I was treated with, given I am Latina.

Starbucks – Doylestown

The Starbucks in Doylestown is consistently great. The line moves fast, and the staff is super efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. They’re always helpful, especially when it comes to using gift cards or customizing orders.

The coffee is always spot on, and the overall experience is smooth and enjoyable. Whether it’s a quick stop or a longer visit, this location never disappoints!
