I haven’t been to this Terrain location since the first week they opened - and this experience was a much better one. As usual, the restaurant was beautifully decorated and pleasant. Our server was so friendly, and overall the food was good. I highly recommend the honeycrisp mimosa and the kale salad - they were excellent! The caesar salad was good too, but the croutons were way too hard in my opinion. We also ordered the sautéed shrimp and the scallop dishes, which were amazing, but the butternut squash risotto didn’t have much flavor. Otherwise, it was a good meal!

Terrain Café is an absolute must-visit in the Doylestown area! I’ve been to a wedding here and was even part of one—it was stunning and aesthetic, with that signature Anthropologie vibe. The café next door shares that same unique charm, and when you step inside, you feel like you’ve entered an Anthropologie-inspired restaurant.
Attached to the café is an actual Anthropologie store with the cutest candles, home decor, and furniture. There’s also a plant store directly behind, which makes the entire location feel like a mini oasis. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and both times I’ve visited, I went for dinner.
While the portions are a bit smaller than typical American sizes, the quality of the food makes it worth it. Specialty drinks are incredible—I recommend the espresso martini, though they have other great options too. We ordered the scallops and had a unique dessert; even the bread is served in a little plant pot, adding to the charm. Every detail is carefully considered, down to the seasonal butter for the bread. Highly recommend Terrain Café for anyone looking to enjoy a unique and beautifully curated dining experience!

We received a gift card from our daughters for Terrain Cafe. The service and ambiance did not disappoint but unfortunately the food was mediocre.Considering the cost I expected more.

THE WORST!
I WAS TURNED DOWN WITH A NEWBORN DESPITE HAVING A RESERVATION OUTSIDE.
Booked a table outside specifically because of my newborn. When I arrived there the hostess and the waitress simply ignored us and continued their chit chat even when I said hello.
Then the lady finally placed us outside and everything seemed fine until I asked her if we could switch the tables and sit in the corner. She immediately took all the forks back from the table and told us to wait at the entrance outside until she confirms something. She came back and said they couldn’t place us outside because of the stroller which is really just a car seat on a stroller base.
She then started saying that we should’ve notified them about the stroller in a little comment section during booking. Repeated it several times but never apologized. The lady also mentioned that in case of fire it’s safer inside with a stroller. That doesn’t make sense at all. And she offered a table inside which obviously was not doable since it’s too loud for my newborn.
I did tell the front desk about that. Her reply was you should have told us about the stroller in a comment section, next time you book it just do that. Never apologised and was pretty much ignorant about the whole situation.
Im a first time mom with who was excited to enjoy her lunch for the first time after giving birth. During booking nothing says people are not allowed to seat outside with a baby in a stroller. The website, the booking process never mentions that. The place was half empty also. So really that was extremely unpleasant, rude, humiliating and unprofessional. Again, none of them ever said they were sorry but only kept saying I didn’t notify them about the stroller.
Terrain used to be one of my favorite places before and I used to eat there almost every week. Mostly in Glenn mills location. never had issues there.
After I gave birth it was my first time coming out for lunch and what a waste… glad another place took us with no issues at all.

Ordered a medium burger. Asked for ranch. Came out super crispy!! The burger was super dry literally nothing on it. Was with friends so I didn’t feel like saying anything. And got the “greens” that came with it!! That was a joke. Never got my ranch. Waiter never came back to check on us. A different person delivered the food.this place is a joke
On top of that, ordered a $14drink that was 99% ice. It tasted awful.

Beautiful setting, friendly staff. Ordered the Beet and Burrata salad. Nice size for 2, tasty. For dinner we had the whole wheat pasta dish and the sautéed scallops. Pasta dish was tasty and a nice portion. Scallop dish was totally disappointing. Scallops were very salty and pasta was undercooked and quite sparse on the portion for the price. Unfortunately, we will not be rushing back.

We absolutely love Terrain! I've only been here for lunch but both times the food and service were outstanding! The staff is so friendly and makes you feel so welcome. We love the innovative menu. My favorite is the eggs benedict with friend avocado over cauliflower with the most amazing brown butter hollandaise. I particularly impressed with one of your staff today but failed to get her name. She was in training to be an Assistant Manager. Lovely, friendly and went above and beyond to make our lunch even more special.
We were warmly greeted by the hostess. The dining room is gorgeous. The waitress was knowledgeable, attentive and very pleasant. We enjoyed our meals very much. We thought the bread presentation was delightful. We also enjoyed browsing (and buying) in the store next door, which is also beautiful. We shall return.

My friend and I met for lunch today at your beautiful cafe. Our service was excellent! We had an amazing waitress, so sorry that I have forgotten her name...began with a D? She was personable and extremely helpful. We both ordered the Arugula and Apple Salad with chicken...probably the very best salad that I have had! My friend and I enjoyed a signature non alcoholic drink, ingredients included pomegranate juice, club soda, ginger, etc....just so refreshing and hit the spot on a beautiful autumn day... I cannot wait to return to this beautiful cafe in the most amazing location in Doylestown, PA. You also have to allow some time to shop in the Terrain store, we were also given a 20% off coupon to use in the shop!! Try this cafe, I promise you will not be disappointed!
The surroundings were perfect for a night to dine on the patio. . Our server was excellent and interacted with us throughout our meal time. The chicken pot pie and scallop dish were done just as they described. I would recommend choosing this place if you are looking to try farm to table dining.
Came here for the first time. My wife was here once before and always wanted us to come and eat here. Well, they have definitely done well and we loved the food!
The atmosphere is amazing in this restaurant! Service was outstanding, food came out super fast and the restaurant was 80% full or so, we were pleasantly surprised!
Definitely recommend this place! Would come again!

We had a great brunch with family. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. We loved it and look forward to going back. They were also very helpful and accommodating with food allergies.
This was the worst customer service we've experienced in years. Our server was inattentive during our meal (forgot about us/ignored us) and rude when at the table (rolled her eyes at my husband when he asked for a glass of wine, refused to take dinner plates away before dessert, snarkily said hope you don't get hit by a deer on the way home). We were rushed to order apps and our main meal came out minutes later before we'd even had a chance to eat them. I sent a detailed email to Terrain before posting this - gave them 5 days to respond - and did not hear back. It seems that the customer service is not important. I know everyone has off days, but it was unfortunate this one happened when we were celebrating our anniversary.
