This was one of our favorite places to go! It seems the “temporary closure” for “renovations” is not temporary as there’s a new restaurant in its place - Greek Brothers Taverna byob. RIP Ra’s Very! Hopefully you’re just moving to a new location. Fingers crossed.

I wanted to check out this restaurant because of the good reviews. My daughters and I were craving Asian fusion cuisine. Waze took us to this seedy shopping strip and the girls pointed out Ra’s. I wasn’t too impressed with the outside of the restaurant but once you enter it’s a totally different cool vibe. I love the decor and ambiance. The adorable young hostess greeted us enthusiastically. The menu had great selection. We had started with the shrimp shumai which was okay. It tasted like the frozen ones that are sold in the Asian market. We also started with the Rock Shrimp and that was delicious! I had ordered the spicy seafood udon and that was so good. My girls ordered the Yaki noodle dishes and cleaned the plate. I highly recommend making a reservation on the weekends. We made ours for 6 pm and so glad that I did since it filled up quickly.

WOW, stopped in on a week night on a whim. We were blown away with the service, atmosphere, and the delicious meals. After initial discovery we went back for more a few nights later on a Friday. Same exceptional service and food was consistently good. This place checks all the boxes. We have been here three times so far and everything on the menu has been exceptional and service is consistently top notch. Give it atry!

The hot pots are so incredible that each time I go I vow to try something else but in the end, I can't live without the salmon or mushroom hot pot. They make their own sracha and it's so flavorful, not just spicy.
