Last night, I went here and the bouncer told my boyfriend and I that we looked young but scanned our IDs and let us in. We are over 21 so we didn’t think much of it. Our friends came shortly after and the bouncer denied our friend because she “looked young and couldn’t let anyone else in looking young” without even scanning or looking at her ID even though she is over 21. My boyfriend questioned the bouncer about what was going on and why she got denied but he told us that he couldn’t let her in and that we “were lucky he let us in”. I understand that you are trying to avoid underage kids from entering but to not even bother looking at someone’s legit and valid ID because of looks is crazy. Needless to say after that interaction, we left and will never be returning.

“Unassuming” is being kind to describe the atmosphere but we wanted some simple food. Burger and Fish and Chips. Both meals were very good. Inexpensive and served promptly. Nice people too. I’d go back.
This bar has gone downhill in recent years. The owners put in no effort to attracts people. You know it's poorly run when the Station Tap a few doors down, which is a restaurant first and foremost, is open later than this bar. A dedicated restaurant staying open later than a dedicated bar is insane. They dont even stay opened the advertised hours on Google. The bartenders probably look at the small crown and close early if they don't think it will be a good night for tips. Poorly run. Hopefully the owners will sell it soon to someone who actually cares.

Food here is unexpectedly great. Have to recommend the Guinness fries!! They are delicious. Pics are of the Irish burger and Buffalo Chicken Cheese-steakGood selection of draft brews.Good neighborhood place to catch up with some friends.
