Have been here several times we totally enjoyed ourselves and the young man on staff wasn't most helpful

Been going here since I was a kid, worked there at 16, and now a good friend Steve and his wife runs the alley. They started bumper leagues for kids. Lanes are up to date, glow ball fun time. Will always love this Gem in Drexel Hill!

Playhouse lane was the only place that had lanes open on a Thursday night. Its small but fun and they have a bartender on-site. Go and play by the hour.

Good local bowling alley, never overcrowded when I’ve gone. Employs local teens as some of the staff which is great.

Literally NEVER answers the phone. Is this even really an open business??

For the fourth time, I have traveled 45 minutes from DE to bowl at Playhouse Lanes, only to find that the staff have made the decision to close the alley early without any prior notice. Earlier in the day, I had taken the precaution of calling to confirm that they would be open as advertised online. However, upon my arrival, I discovered that they were turning families away. I find this situation to be completely unacceptable and will not consider visiting this establishment again in the future. It is particularly disappointing as I have been a loyal customer for many years.

Went there and our lane was pretty much malfunctioning the entire time, some people got to bowl more than others because it would continue to let some people go after their 2 bowls. Also had some malfunctioning with the pin reset. It's better to just go the extra distance to sproul.. if you do come here, avoid the lanes to the far right.

We have reset the pin everytime it does not work perfectly so many glitches

This was our first time there. My boys celebrated their 9th birthday there with a few friends and they had a ball. The food, music, price and the staff was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be going again.

Not a good place to celebrate anything. We came to celebrate an adult birthday and this place doesn’t allow you to bring in a birthday cake. It’s a pretty dingy and very cold place anyway.
