We made a visit to pick up a holiday smoked brisket! We happened to be there on Penn. St game day. Enjoyed lunch , brisket and pulled pork sandwiches with awesome barbeque sauces. Talked with a few bear hunters and our server ... What a great meeting spot to enjoy good food and game day! We will be back!
I performed at a place called Bears Den or Bear Den back in late 80s early 90s, in Meshoppen, is this same place? Or is it a new building? Had a small stage area moderate dance floor, nice crowd and people.
BackStreet was one band, other was Yesterdaze Wine or SouthBound.

Wow! Excellent breakfast! We have been in The UP for 4 days and this was the best experience! Waitress was awesome ! If you have time, check this wonderful restaurant out and enjoy the great food! Great job you guys! Visitors from Vermontville, MI💕
The people who do the barbecue know what they r doing...!!! Great brisket, super fresh bun, very good homemade barbecue sauce...some of the best barbecue i have ever had!!! Awsome!!!

Amazing food & service! So happy to see it open again. Great for meeting up with family & friends for a meal. Also, very close to our family's camp and a great option for a meal if we don't feel like cooking. Their smoked wings are amazing. Tyler provided us with exceptional service. We will be coming back this summer :)

First time to The Bear Den and our experience was incredible. The food was delicious, people kind and very friendly, and live music. We had a really fun time talking to the owner, thank you for the terrific evening. Stop in some time and try some amazing BBQ, you won't regret it !!!
