We had a large gathering in the back room for privacy. Service was amazing as always. The food was good and plentiful in a family style dinner.
Some of the best food around and you’ll never find better service. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
Great place. A not so hidden gem.
Good food, great view
To start the bread was warm and good with the butter and the crab bisque is unique and tasty! I got the chicken francese it was very juicy and tangy, the potatoes were a little dry but when paired with the gravy they were pretty good. The brownie a la mode was terrific, the brownie was still steaming and it paired perfectly with the ice cream. The service was great, my waitress was very nice and accommodating. If you can get a window seat you'll have a very nice view outside. Overall I would recommend trying it out for yourself!
Agree with other diners..... small town restaurant... nothing fancy to look at.... I was very surprised at the menu... prices were actually on point for today.... if not actually lower considering the portion size you get.... we kind of shared a prime rib dinner and a white clam linguine dinner.... we were both pretty hungry as it was almost 9:00 when we were served... and still took home probably a third of the steak and the pasta.... definitely try the coleslaw it's one of the best I've ever had homemade actually met the chef that makes it sorry I can't remember his name.... and if Nina tells you that I actually drank the coleslaw sauce out of the bottom of my bowl... I'm going to deny it ....Nina was attentive... friendly... and very helpful with explaining the meals.. full transparency I can be a real pain sometimes.... I asked a lot of questions .... and often change things ...she got everything perfectly correct..... food was really good ...prime rib was outstanding... huge... with a nice Grilled taste... the clam linguine was very good again large portion a lot of clams not just like chopped up little clams these were cut up but they were large clams... this dish has a rustic taste a little different than the plain white clam that were used to... but very good... we ate a lot... had leftovers I haven't been served that much food... and had a bill under $70 in a very very long time... Nina said there's all kinds of specials she suggests Sundays... my husband's here for the power plant outage... and when they realize that a few people came out of the kitchen to say hello that they had family on the outage... and just wanted to come out and say hi.... I have only one suggestion not even a complaint.... I think the lights should have been a little dimmer it's just a little too bright for a 9:00 dinner.... but definitely check it out you won't be sorry... thank you Lookout house team... it was nice to see people working together... for the common goal of pleasing their customers....

Great food, great value, amazing view.
The Lookout House is a Greater Hazelton mainstay and is as good as it ever has been.
Do yourself a favor and visit the Lookout House again. You won't be disappointed.
These are exactly the type of places there should be more of. Staff was attentive and knew the food preparation. Prices are relative for what you are getting. Clean. Very friendly people at the bar, everyone sharing in conversation. Again, food is excellent. Best meal I’ve had out in a long time.
The food was okay, but nowhere near good enough to justify the prices! Ex: For my side, I ordered the eggplant fries, and they were just deep-fried slices of eggplant with no sauce or dip!
This is a nice place for fine dining off of the interstate 80 exit, good food, they had a nice selection of high end liquor.
Service was good, if you visit during the day there is an amazing view overlooking the valley, you can see all the way over to top of the 80's on the other mountain.
