Taqueria Tlaxcali: Traditional Mexican Cuisine

This was my first time trying Taqueria Tlaxcali and I was extremely happy to discover that they do not use flour in their menu, making everything safe/GF. The owner was very pleasant, and the food was fantastic and freshly made on the spot. I got the chicken/cheese quesadilla which was huge, along with a side of guac and grilled cactus. Can't wait to go back!!

Wow. Lived in Colorado for a decade and was used to good Mexican. I’ve tried all the taco places in the area and this one is #1 by far. Good food and prices. Plus you can get a beer and ice cream next door!

We've tried all the taco places that we could find around Bucks County over the years, and nothing compares to the quality of food you find here! Family-run, fresh-made, as authentic as it gets. Miriam and co put their hearts into every meal, and you can tell!

Folks, this place is the real deal.

Having grown up in Arizona and Texas, I have been a little down since moving to the northeast because we haven’t been able to find Mexican cuisine that tastes like home. We found it here!

Anything you order will be authentic and high quality. We’re glad to taste home again and we hope you’ll enjoy it, too!

No problem with the food it was fine. Lady behind the counter was rude to my husband. All he did was place the order so not sure what crawled up her ass.

We love coming to Taqueria Tlaxcali. Everything is made fresh, so it can sometimes be a wait, but it’s definitely worth it. The carnitas and al pastor tacos are so good.

The al pastor tacos are the very best tacos I've ever had in my life and I'm addicted to them.

The real deal - it's worth the wait if they're busy! In addition to tacos and quesadillas they also serve gorditas and sopes. The maza is really good and the tortillas and handmade (you can see them pressing them). Try them and you'll understand that you can actually taste the difference!

Killer tacos! We got a variety of tacos + Special Nachos which were huge! A bit of a wait on a Friday night at peak dinner time but it’s a fun, chill atmosphere and you can grab a beer while you wait at the nearby Neshaminy brewery. What a treat to have this spot in the neighborhood! Couldn’t recommend them enough.

We like to try restaurants that serve Hispanic food. But with the chicken tacos I felt that they lacked spices like salt and pepper. What I wanted to drink most was hibiscus juice but they no longer had it. The jarritos were delicious but the wait for the food was too long that we finished those juices quickly. Others after us received their meals and those of us who arrived earlier received our late tacos.

A Tuesday, 6:30PM. On the way home from sailing Lake Nockamixon. Decided to stop and try it, as I'd met the owner elsewhere.

Partner orders a veggie taco. Okay.

I asked for Al Pastor. "Sorry, we're out."

Okay, Carnitas. "Sorry we're out of that, too."

Okay, what DO you have? "Chicken or beef."

Okay, chicken. "That'll be about a 25-minute wait."

Adiós muchacha.

Adiós para siempre Taqueria Tlaxcali.

Seriously, carnitas and pastor, you make them up to weeks in advance. Then heat them up. How do you run out? And how do you have a 25-minute-wait (without any other customers in sight) for two tacos?

Fresh authentic food with plenty of flavor, always delicious, super nice people. In Dublin Station which is cool with 4 options for food but I only ever come here anyway. Feels good to give them your support - highly recommend!
