If you're part of Harvest Host, don't ever book here! We were approved to stay here on August 10th 2025. We received an email that said they canceled our reservation. We called to find out why, and was told they were having a huge town event and had no room for anyone from outside the community. The event sounded like a great time and we'd have liked to be a part of it. Again, don't ever patronize this establishment as a Harvest Host participant. They just cancel your approved reservation if something better comes up.
Many choices and great seating.
I asked about the options and maybe not being a local, got a sigh. Went with a few people, and we all had great choices. It was cool to be able to sit outside and watch pizza get made in the next car.
Staff was very nice and welcoming, however, $13 for a Korean Beef Bulgogi sandwich that was made on a hot dog bun that did not include fries. Very disappointing. Not to mention, the meat seemed like it was out of some type of a Stouffer‘s frozen dinner. Beef brisket sandwich was on a “store brand” hamburger burger bun and meat was very sparse. Again, $13 and no fries.
This place was definitely worth a stop. Doolittle Junction is a bunch of small businesses contained in old rail cars. There is a breakfast spot (didn't try it), a pizza place (didn't try it), and a full service restaurant (also didn't try it). We did check out the large walk through dinosaur exhibit. Thought it was cool, especially if you have dino-loving kiddos. We got some apps (chicken fingers and ff, multiple flavors of wings, mozzarella sticks, pretzel sticks) and tried 4 different beers and we would definitely go back to try more next time we're in town. Then the kiddos all played a hard fought round of mini golf followed by a round of ice cream. It's the perfect little set up.
This place is a great experience. From the vintage train cars, to the life size dinasours, It is a must of you are in the area. Our bartender was exceptional. The beer was good and the food was spot on.
Sign said “Open”, but when we ordered two beers I heard the brewmaster say in the back that he wasn’t going to hook up any kegs. We definitely wouldn’t have gone in except for the open sign, and we hadn’t looked on line for hours.
Great beer and a nice place to hang out with friends!
It's a cool place to see.
Super chill and nice place to have a good bite and a really nice beer. Had the gummy sour watermelon...ufff.. too good
Really cool ambiance. Ordered sandwiches and the food was….very rough. The “panini” consisted of a cold bun. I recommend checking out Boxcar but sticking to drinks.

Great music selection. If a place is playing 90’s Johnny Cash you enter! Didn’t try the beer due to driving, but apps and draft root beer are very good. Cool roadside attractions (trains and dinosaurs and live goats) in the same complex.
Drinks were good, made to order pizza was delicious. The atmosphere is unique and fun. We will be stopping by again with the kids.
Good beer with a great atmosphere. This is the kind of place that you hope for but so many times a business gets it wrong. Boxcar managed to pull off an awesome job setting up the brewery in an old train. Worth stopping by with friends, kids, or dogs.
A wonderful stop while driving across PA! We will return to explore more of Doolittle Station. Trains, life size dinosaurs, goats, ice cream, this place is wild. The bartender was alone with about 6 customers when we arrived. Very friendly, welcoming, chill vibe. The cook wasn't in yet, so we could order from the fried appetizers. We were very happy to start with fried shrimp, fried green tomatoes, banana pepper crunch, and duck fat fries - all delicious. 3 adults were still hungry- appetizers are appetizers. The "No Bake Cherry Cheesecake" sour ale was perfection! Took home a 32oz can. It started to get quite busy with Tuesday night trivia crowd, and unfortunately we had road to travel. Looking forward to coming back!
Great beer and friendly staff. Cool spot.
