Dutch Pantry Family Restaurant

Small restaurant but they had good food! Was a little on the slow side but still a good experience!

We went to your restaurant tonight and was seated right away and got our drinks. Waited a little bit. Oter tables came in and were seated. The waitress came got our order and put it in. The other tables ordered as well. Then all of a sudden the other tables food was coming out and 34 minutes later we still had no food. After the 3rd table got their food and now 37 minutes later still no food for us. We finally told the waitress if we didn't get our food by 40 minutes we were leaving and at 39.30 seconds it came. Now not having Manager or assistant manager on duty is also putting the workers in danger. Should someone get injured be and employee or guest well not safe. We were told the kitchen screwed up. If that's the case management needs to be in charge on every shift. Shame on you. From mow on if there is more then 6 cars there we won't eat there

we were pleasantly surprised on our first visit to the Dutch pantry restaurant in DuBois Pennsylvania. the food was very good and was reasonably priced. we enjoyed talking with our waitress Alivia, she was very attentive.

An underrated place for a reasonably priced sit down Breakfast spot in the area. Quick service, Sunday mornings are always super busy.

gave a vague description of what I wanted they brought out exactly what I wanted perfectly cooked and the waitress even said I got your gurl . she sweet understand and so genuine 5 ***** best place I had breakfast at. steak potatoes, peppers mushroom onions and eggs cooked to perfection .

Stopped at this place on my way to Ohio, thinking it was an Amish restaurant. The food and service was pretty good. But I wasn’t expecting the hostile redneck vibe. There were so many gun signs in the gift shop, with terrible slogans threatening to shoot people. Seemed really out of place with the Christian crosses and Christmas ornaments. Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend going here. It’s too bad, because otherwise it was a lovely restaurant.

We love going here for breakfast. Always an excellent meal with large portions and attentive service. Kayla one of the waitresses is amazing at what she does and never disappoints. She only adds to the exceptional service.

Nothing upsets me more than being seated first and having those come in after me get their drink and food order taken before me. I mention that to the waitress in a nonchalant way, she attacks me with every excuse and not a bit of empathy. Then I hear (and everyone else) in the back, the other waitresses saying I’ve only been here for 5 min, which wasn’t the concern. When she returns with my food, I try and calmly explain my position. She doesn’t want to hear it and starts talking very loudly and looking around as to get sympathy, i told her we don’t need everyone to hear our conversation, otherwise i can talk loudly too. She continues on so i just let her rant and give excuses. Empathy goes a long way, if she hadn’t been so confrontational this would have been over in 20 seconds. If she has been trained, she needs to be retrained in etiquette and listening skills, we were given two ears and one mouth for a reason.

Quaint little spot. Food was alright, coffee was super strong, service was kinda slow but I think there were only two waitress and a hostess so it was ok.
