I have always been more than satisfied with the food which is why I gave 3 stars, the staff has always been kind as well. I subtracted 2 stars because it seems anytime I call for takeout, they either don't answer the phones or the most recent excuse has been that they haven't had to go boxes for a month. (This is no exaggeration, I have called trying 3 different times and have been told they don't have boxes)They should probably just remove the take out option on here.
Don't be fooled by the long bar shelves that appear to be full of liquor. I've been here a few times in the past few years, and they have never had any of the following:1. Rum. No plain white rum. They have coconut rum, maybe even dark rum. But zero bottles of Bacardi or any generic white rum.2. Vodka. No plain vodka. All varieties of fruity or flavored nightmare vodkas that they are happy to suggest - grape, blue razz, vanilla, others - but no plain vodka. So the last time I was there, I asked for any number of common liquors with Coke, and they had no Captn Morgan, no Jack Daniels...I finally asked what all those bottles were full of. Not much, apparently. She sold me on a grape vodka with Sprite or whatever soda they had. It gave off a very strong taste and smell of acetone. I switched to the blue razz, which had the same acetone whiff, but tasted like cotton candy.Food was meh at best. Service was very good. Atmosphere is lacking
Located in a historic building this is a purveyor of south of the border flavor.Recommend the house combo. Only down here is the chili relleno is unbattered. So expect a stuffed pepper covered in cheese sauce. The Frontera was especially delicious, unique and savory. No down on that one.Overall a great place to get your fiesta on. Will definitely go again. Enjoy.
The nachos tasted burnt or like they were fried in old oil. The server was nice. We came in at 343pm the place was empty, and they said the cook was on break till 4 would we be ok waiting. The Frontera was my main meal the burritos were absolutely fire, the rice was rather plain and unappealing, the side of queso was ridiculously small. When all said and done most likely will not eat here again.
I always love eating here. Foods always good, and the frozen Margheritas are awesome. My favorite spot in town.
The waitress was very sweet she was a new girl. The food was super disappointing Taco Bell is definitely better and the price for what you get is horrible as well to top that off I now have food poisoning I’ve never done review for any place but after having got food poisoning I felt compelled I’ll never eat here again.
Wow. I never write reviews this like but I've also rarely had this bad of food. The service was fine and I appreciate that the server took my meal off of our bill (since I had one bite and couldn't stomach anymore) but aside from that, woudn't recommend. It's tough to mess up enchiladas but the cheese in these was maybe velveeta? maybe? velvita with chalk mixed in? I can't pinpoint it but it was truly terrible. We went out for an additional meal after this one. Such a bummer.
Where do I start. 6 years ago when we moved to Dubois we tried this place and it was ok at best. It teetered between 3 and 4 stars depending on the time and day. I held off on my review because I figured anyone who would own a business like this would not allow it to get worse so I hoped it would get better, I was wrong. The problem with Latinos & Co. Has nothing to do with the food, drinks, or atmosphere. This is a management/owner issue. They have obviously given up on it. The staff have no motivation to make it a good experience, they don't care because management doesn't care so why should they try. Our last visit we were greeted, asked how many, a table was cleared by one person but we were never asked to sit or led to the table. Next we waited for 20+ minutes to have our order taken. Then about 10 minutes later the person came back to ask questions about our order, it was never put in. I finished my margarita before my food arrived but was never asked if I wanted a refill. I went to the bar and got it myself. We have been told by numerous staff members during multiple visits how sorry they are for the wait time on things but that is because they are "swamped". With the size of this place it should be impossible to be swamped. I can tell you that with good management support 2 to 3 people on the floor and a cook or 2 is all you need to cover this entire place. If you feel swamped with 7 tables full with 4 servers you were not properly trained and management should take responsibility and properly train their people and help to support them so they dont feel like they can't handle a small crowd. The food has declined as well. Maybe cheaper ingredients to increase profits in a declining establishment, wouldn't be the first owner/manager to try that. I can assure you it does not work. It'll be ok for a bit until the food is not worth the cost. You can not survive on drinks alone forever unless your plan is to close the kitchen. To the owner, you need to get involved and speak with your management to get this figured out before it's too late. I believe the only thing keeping it going is lack of options and drinks. I have never once been approached by a manager and asked how the food or drinks are. Is it your intention to have an absent/invisible support staff. Because that is what your manager should be doing, supporting your staff and giving your customers a great experience. One worth coming back for. If you as the owner have no manager and expect that a visit here and there is enough to keep things in order I feel very sorry for you as you don't seem to understand what your role is. GET INVOLVED. Start spending time there and you may see what is going and maybe, just maybe you can turn it around. I can not recommend this place currently but let's hope it gets better because as I mentioned there are no other options for this type of atmosphere or cuisine. Good luck!!
Not exactly authentic Mexican food. Salsa was amazing minus the occasional stale chip. Rice n refried beans were bland. Prices were ok but portion were small
I've never been this disappointed with a simple nacho order. When people order nachos at $7.25 they expect more than 10 chips & some nacho cheese or salsa con queso, not melted mozzarella.

We stopped here for the night while traveling from Michigan. Thought we'd see how the food was. Tacos were pretty basic to say the least. Unseasoned meat.If i was in the area, I'd probably not return.
Looked like a old dive bar. Went up to the bar to pick up my food and was surround it by flies and the smell was horrible. The food look like dog food that I wouldn't even feed to my dog and the food was horrible. I will not recommend this place to anybody at all. They should be inspected right away.
Food was good, not over seasoned which is good. Old building with aor of charm . Super friendly staff. I had the fajitas and they were excellent. They only accept credit cards for payment. No cash transactions. It' a good experience. ?
To be honest the attention was good they are like every other place short of stuff so they take more time than normal to take ur order. With respect the food it doesn't have too much test of Mexican food is more American than Mexican. The salsa with the nachos was good ? ? ?.
Seafood Chimichanga was filled with fake crab and no shrimp. Was not crispy, sauce served over it was white and thin and tasteless. They said they didn't have the ingredients to make a Mojito cocktail. WHAT????It's rum and lime!!Also had no desserts to offer. Salsa served with the chips was watery.
