It was a stop for us while on the road. They took our order then threw our receipt away so there for we had to wait even longer to eat. The floor was completely wet from condensation.

We stopped for a to go lunch. I have not been to a Long John Silvers in at least 10 years. I had chicken, fries and hush puppies. The fries were ok. The chicken was moist and tender, but there's a flavor either in the breading, or the oil that detracts from the chicken for me. It's a slightly bitter aftertaste that I Dont care for. The hush puppies were good. A bit oily. But ok. The fries were pretty good. My wife had the fish and shrimp. She said it was good, but...

It was a pleasure to sit in a LJS and enjoy golden planks, hush puppies and root beer with my son. I used to do this with my grandfather when I was a kid and we had a local LJS but it’s closed now and this one is hours from home. Save LJS! Stop by this one if you’re in the area!
