Tonight, I went out to eat with my aunt to the Garbage Pit for the first time! On our way in, we noticed that there was a dog running free outside, seemingly someone's dog had escapes. It was one of the waitresses' first day, and she was upset to hear that a dog was running free, and was seemingly quick to notify other staff, and even went out of her way to notify a patrolling officer outside of the restaurant that a dog was running loose. All of the staff were extremely kind, attentive, and they served us very quickly. The food was fantastic. It is also a family-owned establishment, and it was really lovely to see everyone working together with ease. 10/10 Recommend The Garage Pit. It was a beautiful first experience, and I'm very grateful that our waitress was there for the little guy who was running loose. I also really loved the racoon decorations inside!! ❤ Super super cool, and loved the music they had playing! It had a very comfortable vibe.

LOVED this stop on our drive through Pennsylvania. The BEST burger & fries - their trash sauce was AMAZING. We're from Connecticut and love finding great burger joints - from NYC to FL. This is by far one of the most delicious spots. Wish they had a 2nd location in CT!! Not to mention the owners were so friendly. 5/5 recommend!!

Absolutely loved going here for the first time I loved the raccoon decorations! The staff was super friendly and helpful it was our first time stopping in and got takeout and everything was so delicious the hit trash burger was spot on and so was the steak garbage bowl (salad) we will be stopping in so much more!!! Thank you and great job guys ☺️

Tried to sample their food at the Sonshine Factory festival. After waiting in line for 20 minutes the woman was very rude and said our system is down. No cards now. I completely understand not having great service but the way she handled it was terrible. Didn't ask us to just step to the side and wait for it to come back on. She had said it happened off and on all day. Basically kicked us out of line and moved on. When I said "we have been in line for 20 minutes" she looked at the next person and said "can I help you, this person is mad at me". Not a great way to handle a prospective customer. I also heard her talking to the cook and saying "oh, well, I upset that women. I wouldn't have been upset at all if she would have handled it better. 100% terrible customer service.

Driving to Philly from mich. Googled a stop for food. Exactly what we wanted. Tasty and local. Trash sauce was good, fries were amazing and obviously fresh. Needs more raccoons as decoration.
