I meant to write this review like two months ago. This was my first full experience at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it! As section hiker of the AT, this was the perfect spot to stay the night before my hike. It’s affordable, the staff is great, and the bar atmosphere and food is wonderful! Not to mention, good beer. :-) Highly recommend The Doyle if you’re looking for a fun getaway. The locals are pretty awesome as well! Safe travels folks. Oh, photos were taken early...

I would recommend to ask if anything is spicy... there has been a few times I ordered items that I did not expect to be spicy... and they were.
Great history and architecture! . Always have a good time! The smoked salmon BLT is awesome! I also enjoy the Cuban!

Had a great night there. Met some friends. That seems to be like one of those bars were everybody is friends. What's really cool is if your Appalachian Trail hiker the whole bar is the trail.
Some of the best wings and fries I've ever had. It was super small. The music was fantastic. My bartender was great. Can't say enough good. Meant a young man there who had just won a gold medal at the special Olympics at Villanova.
