Traditional American restaurant. This restaurant already operated for 75 years and now is managed by the 3rd/4th generations. The food is so good! We ordered a few entree(chicken bowl, 6 Oz sirloin steak, liver and onion) , the portion is big and the food is freshly made. The vegetable of the day is sautéed tomatoes and the sauce is superb!
Stopped in for the first time. Ordered the fried chicken dinner. Four pieces of chicken and two sides for $20. The chicken had to have been refried more than once. The coating was hard and the meat was tough as shoe leather. And the pieces were small. The breast was the same size as the thigh and the leg was the size of my finger. Desserts were good but too expensive for the portion received. $4.50 for a small sliver of pie.
Delicious food and friendly staff. Must stop if traveling toward Harrisburg!
