We found this place by accident a couple weeks back when heading back to Clarks Summit from AVP detouring local roads cause of flooding. Glad it rained hard that day cause we came across this gem after a 6am flight from Florida. We’ve gone almost every weekend since. The food is tasty, the coffee is really good and the pricing is what you expect when you hear “diner”, but the service exceeds what you pay for. Nothing crazy, you get refills without waiting, food comes out...
I usually come here for lunch. And usually it's pretty good. However, today I ordered a Reuben and chili. The waitress forgot about my chili, then informed me they were out when she remembered. Which is fine. But the Reuben was a real sad excuse if a sandwich. Basically just bread and sauerkraut. I guess domt get that if you're looking. Pic is attached.
Stopped in for breakfast. Marie's came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Enjoyed the hamburger omelette with home fries and rye toast.
