An Elegant Evening at Aqua Bistro: A Birthday Celebration to Remember
Last night, we celebrated my son’s 32nd birthday and my wife’s 60th birthday at Aqua Bistro, where the atmosphere was nothing short of enchanting. The warm glow of soft lighting illuminated polished wooden accents, complemented by tasteful floral arrangements and classic artwork, creating an inviting yet eloquent setting. The gentle hum of conversation mingled with soft jazz, fostering an intimate, celebratory vibe that perfectly suited our special occasion.
The service was impeccable, with our server’s attentiveness and warmth elevating the evening. They offered thoughtful recommendations, kept our glasses filled, and surprised my son and wife with a Happy Birthday dessert plate, a delightful touch. The food was equally impressive, each dish bursting with flavor, from vibrant salads to perfectly cooked herb-crusted salmon and melt-in-the-mouth filet mignon. A shared chocolate lava cake with vanilla bean ice cream capped the night. Aqua Bistro delivered a memorable evening of top-notch service and tasteful cuisine, making it the ideal spot for our milestone celebration.

Food is amazing, service is excellent. The owner is always greeting everyone and the waitstaff is great and very attentive. We have been there 4 times and will keep coming back. Food seems to be all made from scratch and with love. It’s the perfect place for a fine dining meal where you can save a few bucks BYOB. Just don’t forget to take care of the wait staff a little extra since they aren't getting the alcohol on the bill!

A five-star experience all-around…an absolute gem! My wife and I came here on a Saturday for our once-a-month date nights (new baby in the family, so it’s hard to get out like we used to 😊). We could not have been more impressed by the service, food, and overall ambiance. To start things off, we split the oysters for an appetizer. For the entrees, my wife got the diver scallops, and I ordered the filet mignon. We finished everything off with the churros for dessert, and the kitchen was so kind to include mini cannolis on the side - a very thoughtful touch! Love the fact they are a BYOB. We will definitely be back!

I can be a picky eater but this place makes some of the best food I’ve ever had. I’ve been here many times and never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is perfect, great for anniversaries/celebrations or just a date night. The entire staff is extremely kind, personable and efficient.
I love introducing family and friends to this restaurant, highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of attending a family birthday dinner at Agua, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a special celebration.
Each dish was bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. The roasted beet and goat cheese salad was divine. Every bite was a testament to the chef's expertise and dedication to quality.
What really stood out was the service. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, quick to attend our every need while still maintaining a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
I can't recommend this place highly enough for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion with loved ones in a truly memorable way. We will definitely be returning!

Agua helped host an 80th birthday dinner celebration for my mom. There were 14 dinner guests which kept the staff on their toes. From appetizers, main course and dessert the service was flawless. Everyone was kind, respectful and the food was delicious. Will definately be returning. Thank you for helping make my mom’s birthday special!

Agua bistro attempts to bring fine dining to Eagleville/lower providence, with mixed results.
The restaurant is located in an old house. When you enter you are in the dining room immediately. There is a 3’ by 4’ area inside the door where you wait to be seated. While in this area you are standing right next to the tables in that room. The tables are close together in this room and the back room. Picture 10 tables in your living room.
Service was generally excellent although there were a few hiccups. For instance we weren’t offered pepper or grated cheese for our entrees despite there being an oversized pepper grinder nearby.
The food was hit or miss. The main problem was the pricing. They are charging premium center city prices in Eagleville. We started with Wild Mushroom Soup ($11) and Mussels ($16). The soup was excellent but pricey. The mussels were good quality and a nice sized portion but the broth was bland. The signature burger ($21) was very good and the truffle fries were great. The pan seared salmon with cous cous was disappointing. At $39 the piece of salmon was significantly smaller than what other restaurants are serving for $10 less. The Fettuccini Alla Vodka ($35) was another expensive miss. The vodka sauce lacked zing. There were only 4 medium shrimp there and a minimal amount of crabmeat.
I suppose there aren’t many upscale restaurants in the Eagleville area, but you dining dollars would be better spent at a more moderately priced alternative.
