I’m lucky in that our friend is a regular, but regardless Bluefin has the best sushi in the Philly metro area.
It doesn’t have the glitz of Morimoto or Zama, but if what you want is a mountain of the finest otoro and chutoro, then this is the place for you.
The sashimi platters are what you come here for, although the entrees are also good for less adventurous friends.
Yong is a lovely owner and always takes time to talk to the regulars. P.S. I still miss B2 :)

Our favorite sushi place in the Philly suburbs and might be the best in Philly altogether. Always FRESH fish, with the best salmon (sake) sushi/sashimi I have ever had. Davitch roll is my personal favorite with Alaskan roll as close second. I love avocado as well, and the avocado's are ripe year round... Not sure how that's possible, but great nonetheless
Plenty of alternative options if you don't like sushi as well. Nice space, and super attentive staff.

Our visit was an absolute delight! We stopped in on a whim while in the area and couldn’t have been more pleased. The head chef and his wife were so warm and welcoming! The food was exceptional! Next time we are in the area, we will definitely revisit! 12/10 recommend!

This is High end Sushi! Yes, it's expensive but that's why come here, good Sushi, high quality. I treated my wife and 2 girls to a Top Shelf experience and well worth it. It is BYO.

The dining experience was exceptional. The quality of the food was truly remarkable. While there is room for improvement in terms of ambiance, the exceptional culinary offerings more than compensate for any shortcomings. I highly recommend this establishment and intend to return in the future. The sushi, in particular, was exceptionally fresh and delectable.

I just had a Phenomenal dinner here! All the ingredients were fresh, the presentations were gorgeous (I wish I'd taken photos!) and the flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced. The Seaweed Salad was a really nice sized portion. The MVP Roll was a delicious combo of heat and acid, perfectly complemented by the creamy avo and fresh green garnish. The Baked Eggplant small plate was without a doubt one of the best things I've ever eaten! I love trying new things and I had no idea what to expect. It was so rich and savory/sweet it was almost like a desert! The presentation made it look like a giant fig, and I could taste the fig essence in the sauce it was baked in. And the way it was baked made the eggplant flesh so decadent, almost the texture of bone marrow. I can't wait to eat here again! I also like that its a BYOB. My entire meal was only $38 + tip!
*One suggestion: service was overall good, but it was a busy night and they only staffed one server, one runner and a busser to cover the entire dining room. They were all working very hard, but a second server would help a lot.
