When I think of a donut shop, Suzy Jo's is the kind of place that pops in my head. I go out of my way to get these donuts and every time I bring them into work, everybody goes crazy for them. People who don't even like donuts wind up eating two and have to cut themselves off like they're fiends. These are your classic donuts too, where each kind is made with varying ingredients to create the different types of donuts, as opposed to some of the newer places that just make one kind of cake donut and put different toppings on. No hate to those places, but that's like the ice cream shops that have one flavor of ice cream and they just mix stuff in, it's just a little one note. Not Suzy Jo's donuts though, you can tell these are made by people who respect donut tradition. Damn these donuts are delicious.

I went in for the 1st time today. Tried a blueberry cake donut…WOW!!! Best Blueberry cake donut I’ve had in My life!!

The sign and website say it is open at 530, except for Mondays when it is closed. Went at 615 on a Saturday and it was empty.

I have tried to get donuts here 3 separate times and every time they were completely sold out. What is the point of being open until noon if you sell out by 9am every day? I don’t understand why they don’t make more donuts.

I'm a bit biased. I've loved these donuts since there was only one shop in Bridgeport. If I want donuts, I'm not getting them from Dunkin, It's Suzy Jo's or nothing.
I wish I could give a five star and I would have 3 years ago when I found this donut shop but since then the donuts keep getting smaller and smaller in size. The price has also gone up one time and the size has gone down. I guess it’s what the call shrinkflation. The taste and freshness is always on mark and I will continue to frequent this shop but I am disappointed that this business has succumb downsizing.
