Realistically the food wasn't as flavorful as I would had hoped for but nonetheless it was a satisfactory dining experience. My friend ended up having their meal come out raw so the waitress comped that meal and gave a 10% discount. I acknowledge that they were having issues in the kitchen but the flavor just wasnt there the time we went. Perhaps ill give Bovino's another shot sometime. The food was visually appealing though.
We visit the original Bovino's near the high school every couple of weeks. The food is reliably fresh and tasty. Always very good sized portions. Reasonable prices. Service is usually a little slow, but not so much that it keeps us from coming back. Wings are great (bone-in and boneless). Pizza is good. Pretzel appetizer is yummy!
I got a Cobb salad and it was super fresh. I loved the crunch of the romaine and the fresh blue cheese crumbles with bacon. Everything was so delicious on the salad!
I’ve had the pizza too, it’s super thin so if you like it a little thicker just make a request and they will make it to your preference.
