Food is simply delish. I agree that the portions are not as big as the typical diner, but I will exchange the amount for excellent flavor anytime. Love the heavenly bowl. Hubby loved the reggae omelet. And my daughter enjoyed the stuffed french toast with sausages (side order). She nearly cleaned her plate, and she rarely does that when we eat out. Very satisfying breakfast!
Parking: Shares lot with other businesses in the Plaza. Should have more than enough parking available.

Very disappointed! I moved to the area a little under a year ago and have visited this diner about 5 times. Each time it has become less desirable. The food is decent but the portions are small. The wait staff are very passive aggressive when you ask about the menu and substitution the response is rude and not very accommodating. I like to think that sometimes people have a bad day or two but every occasion I was met with the same attitude. Finally the last time I was there my children came to visit we were a party of 8. They don’t have a table to accommodate 8 unless you move two tables together. They refused to move tables the reason given was that this is not allowed. When we insisted in a more specific reason we were told that moving the chairs around will cause them to break. That was the most absurd reason. Did I mention the place was empty we were the only customers there. I guess they don’t need customers. We decided to leave and decline their services. I’ve never encountered such terrible customer service the waitresses attitude was unsatisfactory. What saddens me is that what appealed to me was that this seemed to be a christian establishment and I was met with such bad service and bad attitude.

Quite possibly the best breakfast in the Poconos. New ownership/management here is doing a great job. Food was so good I couldn’t wait to come back so I ordered something to go! Recommend the heavenly bowl or the breakfast perogis

This is my last vacation breakfast in PA and decided to come here.I would say this is an up and coming Diner for the area. It's very clean and nice.I had the grits with eggs bacon and cheese and OMG it was sooo delish.My friend had the avocado toast which was just as good.Great value for your money! Totally worth it!!

Went w my bf 1st time and server uhm.. he wasn't so pleasant. Another time I ordered some food for pick up,I order the Southern grits special omg!! Best ever.I love me some grits!!!The experience was much better this time. Nice humble people!! God bless.

This place is great! A perfect little find. Went in for breakfast expecting typical diner food but was pleasantly surprised by the menu! It's so unique and I will definitely be coming back to try a lot of the food. We ordered breakfast; I had the DDs Benedict that had the most wonderfully seasoned j*** pulled pork. It was the right amount of spice, heat and flavor. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Potatoes were amazing. Most diners make soggy breakfast potatoes but these were crispy and delicious. My partner had the breakfast burger and it was excellent, meat was perfectly cooked, presentation was amazing and the French fries were crispy.For two people, the prices were extremely decent. Staff and waitress were so nice, attentive and pleasant.Will definitely be coming back here and so glad we found this place!

Nice quiet place. Eggs were decent. It has a kind of small seating area. Ingress/egress is a real pain because the driveway is in terrible shape. Not the restaurant’s fault. Service was friendly and efficient.

What is pictured is just not sausage gravy. I'm sorry.This is supposed to be pierogies with egg and topped with sausage gravy. There is 5 bits of sausage and some buttery...not sausage gravy on top.Thank you for your kindness and sorry for the review. I couldn't eat it.Maybe consider calling it something different or putting some photos on your menu if you want to serve that as sausage gravy because it just exists too far off the expected spectrum of what that is and Im positive most other people will feel the same, if not silently. The restaurant is clean with a fresh smell. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are great! The eggs were not overcooked, the hash browns were fresh and nicely done, and the coffee was good. What more can you ask?

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered the turkey bacon Swiss wrap that ironically does not come with turkey bacon. It comes with processed turkey that was barely warm and looked raw but for the fact that it's processed, so it's just warmed up. My issue however was the server's attitude when I returned the food and asked to order something else. I was told they couldn't let me re-order because they weren't sure that I would like it and they can't be wasting food. I have never in all my years of dining out have been told this. It makes me wonder if my skin tone was different, maybe service would have been different. I always try to support black owned businesses, but this type of service makes it hard to do so. At the very least the young lady's attitude needs adjustment when interacting with customer's that have issues. I have eaten here on a handful of occasions when visiting family in PA and have never had this experience. I always tip very well, even when the service is eh, however, after today's experience, I won't be back.

I'm not sure how long DD's has been there but I kept seeing it on Door Dash and wondered where it was. I felt silly when I realized that it's right in town and I feel even more silly for not figuring it out sooner. The diner was super clean, the staff were very friendly and prompt and the food was delicious!! I can't wait to go back to try some curry chicken!

I truly regret that I have to write this review. I had high expectations for this place, I had never been to a diner that served Caribbean food. Excitedly we sat down and ordered our food around 11am. An hour later after we are frustrated, hungry and upset, the waitress tells us that our food is coming and was delayed because they had to fulfill online orders first. I’m sorry, but if you are going to do DoorDash, Uber eats, etc, you can not neglect your in person guests. You have to find a way to manage both or choose one if you can’t. We ended up getting most of our food at 12:20pm. One hour and Twenty minutes we waited to eat just for the waitress to then come and tell us that they forgot to cook a part of our order and it would be an additional 20 minutes for that item. Unbelievable. The worst part is that , the waitress told us it was their anniversary and they were giving out cupcakes and asked us what we wanted. My bf chose a cupcake and when it was my turn, she said ,it’s only 1 per order. I just had to laugh.so if it was 8 of us we would only get 1 cupcake. I hated this experience so much, no care or concern for making it right.
