Our first visit to Derailed Taphouse was fantastic, thanks to our server, Nico. We were a party of seven celebrating a birthday, and from start to finish our service was impeccable. Nico was attentive without ever being overbearing, super friendly, kept great conversation, and made sure every single order was correct. He checked in at all the right times, kept drinks filled, and genuinely made us feel welcomed. He turned a good meal into a great experience, and because of him we’ll absolutely be back. Food was also really good!

So went in for a pretzel. It wasn't anything special. Beer selection is alright. For 32 on tap half of them are what you'd expect at any other bar. But the manager? (Some old guy) should be fired. He berates employees in front of customers because...they came into work.

I was happy to have something to be able to eat when I went here with my family. I got the Vegan Roll Up. I had a protein shake before I left the house because I knew what I was getting into. The lack of protein is a disappoinment, but, that said, the sandwich (BBQ portabella and white bean spread) was quite tasty and the fries were good.
We went for trivia night (Monday 7pm). It was a disappinment because we couldn't hear the questions at all. It might have been a little easier to hear if we had been seated on the same side as the host. But there was a lot of talking and the sound system was also inadequate. So, in short, don't go there for trivia night unless you go early and sit right next to the speaker.

Maybe afternoon is different because i went at night once and it was a different experience. $8 for a kids mac n cheese that was exactly like a $1 kraft mac n cheese box, but almost no cheese! Didnt even eat it past one bite. But who'd notice? Our waitress was never looking over to see how meal was or even to ck if we needed drinks or check etc. I won't go back. Add this to another PA food disappointment.

We got our beers right away but it took forever to get our appetizer. We were a little concerned because it was probably the worst pretzel we ever had. Very hard dense. Our food came immediately after and fortunately made up for the bad pretzel (btw you should take that off the menu!) The shrimp tacos were great and someone had the triple burger, also great. One kids meal burger but they did not ever offer the ice cream dessert so better request it.
Food was great. My drink was a little sour for my liking.

The sign out front is pretty cool and if you can find a time when it’s not busy it’s a chill spot for a beer and some apps, food isn’t anything more then your normal greasy bar food but I don’t think they’re lure is the good, I feel like it’s the atmosphere. The staff is nice and the outdoor seating is nice in the summer, prices may be a bit high for what the food is but the drinks are cool for what it is.

Delicious food, great service, and they are beyond DOG FRIENDLY!!!!!!!!! Outdoor patio seeting - Mandy was phenomenal getting our boy Smokey water on this hot summer day!! We can’t wait to come back again with Smokey!! Prices are so reasonable and food was fantastic!! 10/10 recommend!!
