Such friendly service and delicious food with great prices and generous serving. Loved it!
We found the other reviews spot on. Great food at great value. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. Cari was our waitress and owner. Very warm and friendly. If we lived in the area we would make this one of our regular restaurants. We were traveling on a Fall foliage tour at the time.
My review comes from a place of genuine confusion. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which was listed under sandwiches along with the steak option. Normally, I would’ve gone with the steak, but since the chicken sandwich was more expensive ($14 vs. $11), I assumed it must be something special—maybe even their signature item.
It was takeout, so I didn’t eat it right away, and unfortunately the fries didn’t hold up well. I’d recommend skipping the fries unless you’re dining in.
When I finally got to the sandwich, I was surprised—it didn’t look like any chicken sandwich I’ve had before. As it turns out, it was made with stewed chicken thighs. The flavor was fine, but the sandwich itself was pretty basic, especially given the higher price. I didn’t add any condiments since it was called a “Salvadoran-style” chicken sandwich, and the menu didn’t describe what that included. I expected something more unique or fully dressed.
Overall, it wasn’t bad, just underwhelming for the price. Next time, I’ll definitely ask more questions before ordering, and I’m still open to trying other items on the menu

Yesterday I went to visit for the first time. As I walked in I noticed Christian worship songs playing love that as I am Christian myself. Restaurant is nice and clean with plenty of tables to sit. Clean bathroom that’s a plus. Food was amazingly delicious. I had pupusas and Plato mixto everything was so Delicious, flavorful with excellent Customer service. I 100% recommend this place. I’m already thinking when I’m going back .

Only my second review ever. This restaurant is so good I had to say something. Best cooked shrimp I’ve ever had and it’s not close. Everything was excellent!! Can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I have been here three times and each time has been amazing. The food reminded me of my service trips to El Salvador. The pupusas are the best that I’ve had in the U.S. the other selection is outstanding. They even accommodated my vegetarian diet. Super friendly staff, beautiful dining area, and God loving people. Give it a chance, you won’t be disappointed, God bless!
Kind service, parking was available. Food was a good portion and flavorful! The pupusas were delicious.

One of my new favorite restaurants, I try to go at least once a month. The food is a 10/10 They only lack in checking up to refill waters but thats negligible. The atmosphere and food are absolutely the best around the area.

Best Salvadoran food in the area. It beats Allentown. Now I don’t have to drive far just to get food. It was very delicious and the workers were very nice and it’s very clean. I recommend and I give it 5 stars for sure.

Our second time at El Salvadoreño restaurant in East Stroudsburg on 730 Milford Road. The food was amazing! I had a pork chop with rice, beans and salad and it was so fresh. Martha had two pupusas. Pupusas are typical from Central America and are made with corn flour and filled with different ingredients. We chose cheese with pork and another with sausage. Delicious! I highly recommend this place! Very reasonable prices too.
