El Sazon De Mi Abuela

I found this spot like 3 months ago. I live 5 mins away from it, I have no idea how I missed it. Best puertorrican food I’ve had in ES and Stroudsburg. Most of the time I order pernil with rice and beans and it’s SOOO GOOD.. but I’ve had the mofongo.. delicious, I’ve had farina,stew chicken, beef and chicken empanadas, flan, tres leches, flancocho, tembleque.. last time my friend came she had an alcapurria and she was drooling over it.. I mean they have EVERYTHING. The seasoning and flavors of the food take me back to my childhood in Puerto Rico. Everytime I go here it’s like I’m back in my island. Best puertorrican food in the area! ??

The food was bursting with flavor! Portions were generous! The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was extremely clean! If you are looking for authentic cuisine, I highly recommend this!

Mofongo is absolutely delicious, and the Pernil is as good as my family's recipe! This is truly authentic Puerto Rican food.

The food is extremely delicious and everything I've had so far has been fresh and full of flavor. The staff is super sweet, very humble. I'll continue to visit this cute little spot, as it feels like I'm the kitchen of a Latin grandmother than in the dining room of a restaurant. I like that feeling ?

The service and food was so amazing that we came for lunch and dinner on the same day! The crab empanadas are the best!!! I love everything about this restaurant.

Great atmosphere and great prices. From the pinchos (kebabs) to the sorillos de maiz (cornmeal fritters). Everything was great! Lunch specials are $12. Highly recommended.

I had a last minute activity and didn't have time to go to the restaurant in person. So the opportunity to be able to order by phone saved me enormously. The girl who guided me was very kind and helpful. I ordered a tray of rice with pigeon peas and another of roasted pork for an activity and it was definitely the best decision. The food was on time and ready for the time I ordered it. Everything was delicious with authentic Puerto Rican seasoning. All our guests were very happy with the food. We definitely recommend them and will order again.

I bought some food for a baptism party and everything was amazing! Food was great everyone was happy and reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone who wants to cater their event or just eat in!

We ordered rice with pigeon peas and pork on the side, it was delicious, the most I liked was that the food was NOT salty like in other places, my husband liked it, I'm sure we returned soon yummmy yummmy, we ate very well, thank you ☺️
