Goldberg's Bagels and Deli

The bagels used to be alot bigger before, now they are small. They are no different than the other bagel shops in the area. Very disappointed now with there bagels

Every week my company orders from Goldberg’s for breakfast break…. This week was the worst.. I ordered Sausage Egg & Cheese wrap, and I ended up with a mouth full of egg shells…Wish I could post a picture of it.

I ordered the stroudsburg club. The grilled chicken was like chewing on rubber or a piece of fat. Absolutely disgusting

I asked for a pastrami on rye bread...price would have been $11.75...3 pieces of Pastrami that looked like roast beef...I said no thank you...NEVER get Pastrami when they show you its Dietz and Watson...UHGGG
Went to Beesecker diner...Had real Pastrami and it was delicious...Glad I went there.
They do have all topping for their bagels...but don't expect alot on the bagel...

Food ok , prices ok. Uneven floor so I have to keep my coffee in my hand so it won’t spill because the table was moving back and forth.
This place need a definitely a deep cleaning

Could improve I like to call ahead and they never pick up the phone. They pick up and hangs up. They workers are rude. Food is great but don’t match the customer service!

Have frequented many times. Stopped by today at 2:30 just wanted. A toasted bagel and was told no because their grills and toasters are off. If y’all close at 3:00 why bother staying open if you can’t fill any orders. . The girl at the counter was less than helpful and very rude. If you don’t wanna work just say that. But making excuses about how your toaster takes 30 minutes to clean is beyond me . Will never be back which is a shame because it’s one of the actual good bagel places around here

The cashier was incredibly helpful and patient as miles of customers are angrily storming at him. He was almost a conductor of an orchestra that held everything together. That man has the patience of a saint and the navigation of a sailor expecially on the weekend mornings. You guys are very lucky to have him. I am a door dash driver so I am there almost every day and he is by far one of the best chaos defusers I have ever seen. Literally one of the best most popular places in Stroudsburg and I've seen it get crazy in there bc the food is delicious and the prices are good. 100 percent would recommend to anyone!

I went in at 10am on a Sunday to find out there were no bagels left and it would be at the least an hour until there were any left. What bagel store runs out of bagels? On a Sunday no less. Poor management and the guy at the counter was as rude as can be!

I come here all the time never had an issue but today just bothered me so much. This young lady came in and told them her order was wrong due to an allergy problem. The cashier who is always amazing told the lady that she needed to do a remake. She had a small attitude about it but nothing crazy. I understand because of how busy, but not even 5 minutes later the young lady comes in again and the order was wrong. The cashier man went and talked to her about it and she said it wasn’t wrong but again it was. Her attitude about this after remaking it again was absolutely disgusting. She made an announcement how this was her third time making it and was not doing it again. Honestly I’ve never seen this happen here and I felt so bad for this young lady standing right in front of that miserable lady and hearing her complain about her. If you can’t handle customers or a busy day I am sorry but this job is just not for you.

Cashier/order taker was wonderful and friendly. However, the bagels are plain and flavorless, lack a good crust, and aren’t chewy inside. Basically, they’re just bread.

Their bagels are the best around...

I came here for lunch and was underwhelmed. I grew up in the NJ shore and lived for more than ten years in Manhattan so I know good bagels. The few bagels they had left were quite …ok. The service was Ok. They place survives because it’s across the street from a university and a hospital. They told me there were no baked good goods because the baker is on leave. I came in at noon and the inventory of the other bagels was next to zero- see the pictures.

Tourist in town who loves a good bagel so stopped at Goldbergs around 7:30 am for a carryout; parked out front which has meters but we put in a few quarters just incase. Restaurant had plenty of tables, was clean and well lit; there were 3 people ahead but orders were filled quick and hot. Bagels were huge I had sesame toasted bacon, egg, cheese delicious so big I saved half for tomorrow morning. My husband had the everything bagel and said it was fantastic! Ham, egg, cheese served fresh and hot. For a quick breakfast eat in or carry out I’d highly recommend Goldbergs Bagels. I also bought a small enjoyable sized container tuna salad but they also had chicken and egg salad. Great for traveling, picnics or just lunch/dinner. Go to Goldbergs!
