Best mixologist ever. Best steaks ever. Better than that large high-end steak house. Excellent service.

Great meal, friendly server, Cocktails were excellent. Don't make selection on drinks, let her surprise you, we had 4, 5 different ones and they were fantastic.

They could not have been more accommodating to severe food sensitivities, some of the best service I've ever seen in that department. I thought my strip steak was prepared perfectly, others with me really enjoyed the duck and filet, and the table sides were delicious (definitely recommend the mushrooms). The only thing even close to some of the negative reviews I've read that we experienced was that the muscle appetizer was unexpectedly spicy. It was very good, and most of us could enjoy spicy, but the menu description didn't indicate that it would be.

It took a little long for us to get seated with a reservation and no one in the restaurant, the hostess was somewhere else. The bread, like everyone else said, simple potato roll that’s cold with oil. Garlic truffle fries were good but really lacked the truffle flavor. And the $2 aoli was not enough for the whole plate and had to pay extra for that. The duck was ok and not much came with it, the flat iron was good but also only came with a roasted garlic clove, which helped with the duck. Lychee martini was not great. The mojito was better. Our server was attentive and the only aspect that really matched the price point and atmosphere. Overall not my best experience at a restaurant with this price point, Momento in Stroudsburg is way better for the similar prices.

My family decided to try Rare & Rye for a birthday celebration.
One family member has severe food restrictions. The chef came to the table and discussed her dinner. He was very patient and prepared a meal the she enjoyed. our food was prepared exactly as ordered. The wait staff was very accommodating. This restaurants is one of the best I have been to in recent years.

I have to say this dining experience is drastically oversold. We took my family there for an anniversary outing with my mother-in-law. While waiting for our meal we were served cold potato rolls, that looked identical to the ones you see sold in walmart stores, with olive oil. After one bite we set it aside. It lacked all flavor and just plain butter would have been better. I wish I could say I could wash down the taste with my Dr pepper I ordered but sadly I had to send that back as it was flat and tasted like it came from a 2L that had been opened for a month.

For my meal I ordered the Filet Mignon. To say it was disgusting is an understatement. It had no flavor and was severely overcooked. When my mother-in-law tasted it she asked me if it was petrified. When my husband tasted it, he immediately spit it out in disgust asking me if they served me dog food. All I could tell him is I hope not as no one deserves to eat anything that revolting. Thankfully we had table sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus otherwise I would have had nothing to eat.

My husband had the ribeye, it was cooked correctly, and had flavor. The downside was it was 80% fat and very little actual meat on it. It was actually the fastest ribeye he's ever been served.

My mother-in-law had the wagyu steak. It was undercooked but it had good flavor and was editable.

For an over $200 meal most of my party had the sides that were worth $20. That speaks volumes to the quality of the food served here.

No. Just... no. Don't go here. If you want actual food go 50 ft to derailed.

The sauces were crude, the salads were ok. The shrimp... I could get better shrimp at fast food. They couldn't cook the steaks to the right rarity. It was NOT WORTH IT.

I've never been so pissed to eat at a fancy place.
