Royal Caribbean - Island Delight

So, my family and I wanted some thing so close to home cooking and we're coming from out of town. and this place food looks good. Definitely enjoyed our meal. The oxtail was tender with a nice gravy with the butter beans as well. Rice and peas was cook to perfection. The Chicken and Goat roti, delicious. And my picky little niece liked the macaroni pie. We are going back again. Thank you

This was my first trip to RC and it instantly became one of my favorite spots. I got the Curry Goat with white rice. The spice level was perfect and I was even given some plantains which paired really nice. I got a spicy beef patty to go and got a Big Bamboo Irish Moss to drink with it. The Irish Moss is THICK. But delicious. I hope you give this place a try. Courtney and Charles were the greatest hosts and made my experience unforgettable. I can't thank you enough. You took a rather glum day I was having and cheered me up and made me feel welcomed. I'm forever grateful and a permanent customer! Thank you.

Food and service is amazing.

The food here is delicious !!!!! It Bring the Caribbean to PA. It’s a must go spot . I had the oxtail with rice, gravy, collard greens, and cabbage. It my favorite spot in stroudsburg hands down. My cousin had the jerk chicken . And it the perfect amount of spice. We shared, 1 spinach and 1 jerk chicken patty and we couldn’t decide which one was better. It was that good!

I've been in the area for about 14 years and for some odd reason I never went, and come to find out they have been open 20+ years, so with that being said the food was outstanding and the Price was definitely Right, Also the cocoa bread and patties are amazing and I had leftovers as well. They definitely have friendly service & they gained a customer because I will be coming back, No Lie📌

I walked by and smelled the food... of course i had to get me something... snd here we go I am addicted to their food. Lord have mercy with me.. don't want to roll myself because my belly is full.

I’m a long time customer since this restaurant opened and the food is amazing! Big portions and a very friendly atmosphere. They give suggestions of what you might enjoy and my new obsession is their curry chicken patty! OMG, it didn’t make it home it was amazing. Stop by and show some love, I’m sure you’ll find something amazing on their menu!

I would come back here again. Jerk pork was very peppery, but I like it that way. For those that can't handle all that spice, don't order the jerk pork/chicken. Friendly workers as well.

Great food and clean establishment. Not familiar with the area but love Jamaican Caribbean food and I must say they didn't disappoint. I will be back if I'm ever in the area again!!!!

I hadn't been here in so many years so I stopped in to try out something new. I had tried the jerk chicken and oxtails in the past (both quite tasty) so I wanted to try something new this time. Was going to get the brown stew chicken but they had sold out for the day. Ended up grabbing the curry goat with some rice and greens. The woman working inside was very helpful when I wasn’t sure what to get once the brown stew chicken was sold out.

So the goat was on the bone, which is how I feel it should be personally but to each their own if you don’t. It was incredibly tender and there was zero hint of gamey or irregular flavors at all. I once had goat at a friend’s family gathering years back and it was terribly gamey so I’ve avoided it since. This was nothing like that at all. The curry sauce was delicious. If you are someone who says you don’t like curry and it’s based off trying curry from Indian spots or Thai or something…this is not the same.

The collards were good but not what I was expecting at all. I’m used to the greens from the south so I anticipated a heavier vinegar presence and a different texture. I think I prefer the southern greens but that’s just what I know all my life so I lean that way. These were still tasty!

Paid $14 for this platter but it is a two meal box for sure. I’d absolutely pay that any day of the week (a drink came with it as well) and I can’t wait to get back. Royal Caribbean Island Delights - Didn’t Suck!
